cheers for all the feedback. Voodoo Theatre is live now and looks immense. We have a few things to do on our website but at the moment we are quite busy so these changes will have to wait. There is currently two of us in the business and we also have a few people we can freelance out to. We're getting 3D logo designed, very similar to this one, once we have that, we'll make a much nicer high resolution video portfolio.

My day has been tiring. Starting a business is all about hard work. Networking, finding clients, designing websites, online marketing but it is a relief working for yourself and building something valuable from the ground up.

The default language on my computer is in welsh, i have no idea why. its a new comp, got it a few weeks back from comet. The only one i can change it too is US English. All the text is in english anyway, its just when i use MS Word. it doesnt automatically spell check cos its looking for welsh words and i have to change it in Word but it changes back after i open a new word document. Its just a pain the ass really. Is there anyway i can download the UK English settings.

I'm trying CD's at the moment, i'm gonna try a DVD next but was hoping to get it working. In Nero, my old CDRW was reading the same disk but the new DVD RW drive it said the drive was not ready or there was no disk in the drive... I am using the same NERO software as i did before i got the DVD drive but the one i have is actaully newer than the one supplied so surely that wont be it will it. Another thing i've just noticed is that the update file that comes with the installation cd keeps saying the drive is not supported.

Now when i try to burn a disk through windows explorer it says there is no disk in the drive when there clearly is. i've never had a problem with the imation disks i use before.

i bought a DVD RW from ebuyer, its a Samsung SH-W162C 16x DVD±RW, from ebuyer (quick code 97067) It was OEM but i dont care about that as i dont need packaging. I installed it and although i had a few minor problems with the jumpers i sorted that and had it working fine, or so i thought. I started reading cd's and dvd's and they read very well then i tried burning a cd first with Nero 6 Ultra. It took a while starting and then it just had an error at around 20%. it aslo didnt burn at the speed stated, it had said max speed 32X when the Max speed of this drive should be 48X. i'm gonna try a DVD but does anyone have any ideas. is this a problem with the unit and needs returning or a problem with my PC which isnt exactly brand new but is still a P4 1.8Ghz, 256MB etc so not too old either.

It may have something to do with your security settings if its not working after trying all the above.i have that problem, it all depends on what error message your getting, last time my msn went kaput it was the security issues and i had to tick and untick a few boxes in the IE tools.

Hey, people may or may not remember me from a year or two ago, i used to be called <Link> or sumat like that and i did have 1k+ posts but stopped using the site cos i had big changes in my life. I was surfin the site and then i thought why not pop by and say hey and maybe get some advice from all you people cos you always were good at giving it. i'm thinking of buying a new computer, i have been on dell.co.uk and seen one that suits me perfectly, its in my price range and has the specs i need. i am willing to spend £600 and that can be either the case and monitor or just eh case. I was wondering if people could tell me what dell are like, are they good or bad, are the comps reliable or cheap. Also if there are any sites that sell good PC's please give them. Also the processer is a P4 630 3ghz with 800mhz fsb and 2GB cache. this is a 32 bit processor isnt it, would it be worth buying a 64 bit one or not. the speed of this PC is more than adequate but will i regret buying a 32bit procesor. Cheers, hope you can help
