better dynamic shadows, much more definition, more advanced character lighting and lots more things on-screen - he showed a Gears of War demo with 100 Locust enemies running around. There will be better splashes (of blood, hopefully), better sound effects, integrated cinematic creation software, and Ageia soft body physics technology that allows objects to appear gelatinous and sticky when touched, or fluid balls to have viscosity and so forth.
And last but not least, scenery is now destructible - demonstrated by a Torque Bow arrow sticking into a wooden fence then blowing it to pieces.
All the important things you need in a game then basically.

That's nigh-on identical to my system, must be a ewe thing

as if this topic was revived today! this is day 1 of a smokefree dan!Day 5 here, I'm doing really well - I've only destroyed one of my ceilings at work so far!

Ha, typical because I don't like it I get called stupid. Yes I get the wit and sure it made me smile but the way some of go on about it make it seem like you were rolling on the floor laughing out loud.I don't know why I feel the need to put my penneth in but I think he was only pulling your leg.
Yeah, Portal and all that. actually, I have to plug my wired mouse back in when attempting the Vanilla Crazy Cake achievement, lest I launch my wireless out the window when the frustration crescendos.

So he is!

That's a serious budget, I couldn't bring myself to blow so much money on a PC no matter how good it is.
For you however I recommend 2 ATI HD3870 X2s in Crossfire and an Intel QX6950, or if you're willing to wait for a bit an Intel Penryn CPU with two 9800 GX2s.

You're on a roll Bluestar.
RIP Jeremy, though tbh I thought he'd popped his clogs a long time ago, after falling into Lisa Riley's mouth and slowly being digested over a thousand years.

Beermonkey?

Nein, it's there, you've just got to read between the lines, as it were.

That's gross, everyone knows babies should be pan-fried.

I do the cryptic crosswords sometimes, let me think of a few.

I do this quite often. Didn't realise it was frowned upon....I know, they don't even bother cleaning it up in Somerfield.

EEVIL, your hairline is doing the decent thing, like mine, and slowly running away from your eyebrows.

I've never played this (or any other Counter Strike game ) before, but I've heard good things about it. Could this monumental noob get some on that?

The old 8800GTS cards (the 320MB and the 640MB editions) have been replaced by the hugely improved 8800GTS 512MB, if you have £200+ to spend go for one of these.

I could never touch Tennents (or for that matter Special Brew) after I was asked by a homeless person with arthritis to open his can of it for him.

Since you're American could I apologise on behalf of my country for the atrocities commited against you on the Youtube comment section. The shame runs deep.
-
I think apologies are appropriate if the country in question is still reaping the benefits of its mistreatment (I don't know enough about the Japan/Korea situation to say whether that's the case there).

I've never seen Cobra with any favors in a Pub. One pub in town just sells plain Cobra. I usually hit tescos to get my fix of Lemongrass Cobra.Another instant win is Kopparberg Pear Cider
Yum!
Have you tried St Helier Pear Cider? It's not easy to come by but if you get the opportunity give it a try.
Custom build pc (yes another one)

For 20 quid more the new 9600 GT looks like a better buy than the 3850.
