    He wouldn't have been beaten. Someone probably just connected their elbow to his eye area in a mosh pit at the Opeth gig.

     

    That's what I'd've assumed, I feel robbed if I don't come out of a gig with at least a punctured lung.

    I still come here semi-regularly, but most of my post get ignored because I ran out of useful things to say a good few years back now. I'll never get this place completely out of my system, despite the hypnosis and electro-shock therapy, but these kids are too sharp for an old timer like me.

     

    I may have alzheimers, but at least I don't have alzheimers.

    Even so that would make human's obsolete as they wouldn't even be advanced enough to use this software. So either we would become a lower class being and/or slaves to machines. Or a war would break out. But with more of our best weapons computerised we would most likely lose.

     

    We better start storing some pinches.

    If your identity is based on a currency, that's rather bad.

     

    Whilst this has legs enough for it's own thread, I think the UK is having a bit of an identity crisis at the moment, and as a symbol of nationhood the pound has value beyond it's economic muscle.

    This is basically the first step for your Eurozation. Detachment from the biggest national symbol with a new face and smaller quantitative values more in line with the euro coins.

     

    The denominations haven't changed, only the patterns.

     

    They're not going to change the 2 pound coin yet, but it's still legal tender.
