  1. Football Season 2007/2008

http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=475542&CPID=24&clid=144&lid=4161&title=L'OM+claim+Cisse+agreement Marseille have claimed they have "agreed in principle" a deal to sign Liverpool's Djibril Cisse. The French club's move for Cisse was put in doubt earlier on Friday after Liverpool confirmed West Ham had made an approach for the striker. However, Marseille insist they are on the brink of clinching a deal for long-term target Cisse and that he will join former Liverpool team-mate Bolo Zenden at the club. A statement on the club's official website read: " "As well as signing Boudewijn Zenden, Marseille have also reached an agreement in principle with Liverpool for the transfer of Djibril Cisse." Marseille have been chasing a deal for Cisse all summer after he spent last season on loan at Stade Velodrome and they are confident of finally landing the French international despite West Ham's interest.

Looks like Djib won't be signing for Marseille. Marseille have taken so fcukin long to sort this out and now it gonna hurt us bad! got no strikers apart from Niang and we just signed that waste of space Bolo Zenden!! Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has confirmed West Ham have made an approach for Djibril Cisse. Cisse is surplus to requirements at Anfield and Liverpool are ready to listen to offers for the French international. Marseille had been leading the chase to sign Cisse after he spent the whole of last season on loan at the Stade Velodrome. However, West Ham could now be ready to pinch the former Auxerre ace from under the noses of Marseille. Liverpool are believed to be holding out for a fee in the region of £9million for their former club record signing and West Ham could outbid Marseille for Cisse's signature. West Ham are actively scouring the market for striking reinforcements with Carlos Tevez seemingly on his way to Manchester United. The Hammers are also though to be keen on Cisse's Liverpool team-mate Craig Bellamy. Bellamy has been pushed down the pecking order by the recent arrival of Fernando Torres and Benitez confirmed earlier this week he was considering offers for the Welsh international. source:http://www.skysports.com

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/l/liverpool/6254338.stm Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse is set to sign a permanent deal with Marseille despite a late approach from West Ham. Bolton and Portsmouth were also interested in signing the 25-year-old, who cost Liverpool £14m in July 2004. But Cisse, who spent last season on loan at Marseille, is keen to join the French club on a permanent basis. "Marseille is definitely the choice for Djibril," Cisse's agent Ranko Stojic told BBC Sport. "I think the deal will happen on Friday or Saturday." Stojic added: "I have been very busy this week - I caught six planes in two days - and I am sorry for the people I have not had the chance to call back, Mr Eggert Magnusson of West Ham for example." Magnusson, who was thwarted in his attempt to sign Darren Bent from Charlton, tried to contact Stojic earlier in the week - but Cisse had already opted to join Marseille permanently. "The Marseille option is the best choice for Djibril because of the Champions League," said Stojic. "West Ham, Bolton and Portsmouth I understand are very, very good clubs but Djibril wants to play in the top level of European competition next season." Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez made it clear that Cisse would only be allowed to leave Anfield on a permanent basis. "Mr Benitez has been very, very correct," added Stojic. "Of course he tried to get a little bit more money for his club but I think it will be a good deal for everybody. "There are some details to sort out between Liverpool and Marseille but I think it will happen soon." Marseille started their pre-season training on 25 June and the player is keen to sort out his future as soon as possible so he can join his new team-mates. Cisse, who has two years left on his deal at Liverpool, has broken his leg twice in the last three years, first in 2004 and then in a friendly for France against China last year just before the World Cup in Germany. And after suffering such serious injuries, Stojic stated: "He is so motivated after all the problems he has had." .......... great signing for Marseille. Now I hope Marseille get Liverpool in the CL group stages.
  6. steroids have been a part of this business for decades. Wrestlers have been on steroids since at least the 1960s, and probably earlier, and you don’t hear about them going nuts and killing their wives and children. You hear about them dying early of enlarged organs, but not double homicide/suicides. To place the blame on steroids is wrong. Benoit has been wrestling for over 20 years. been dropped on his head, hit with chairs so obviously suffered concussions. this would not of been good for mental health. Could pro-wrestling in the states have a commission that suspends wrestlers who fail CT scans or who suffer concussions or heavy bodily trauma like they do in MMA? I don't think it would work as Vince would never let it happen. also what about Indi Wrestlers. they have too work on a constant basis just too feed there families and make a living. Telling an indi wrestler he cannot work for a month would be disastrous.

The Australian courses are killers. have to be careful around every corner! I use automatic gears and I sure that is why when playing online some peeps are much quicker as they are using manual gears.
  9. One of the best Pro-Wrestlers ever. wish he would of Remained touring Japan instead of the WWE. never really got the chance too watch his work in the WWE as it not my thing. saw 90% of his matches in Japan and he was one of the best!
  10. Why Are We Complaining?

What level are you guys playing Dirt on? I not really having any trouble with Pro Am but Pro can be tough in some races..
  14. Xbox 360 Console Discussion

the problem with PES6 on the 360 is that the PS2 version is better. No edit mode was criminal and the graphics were a huge let down. everyone was hyped about it, saying it would be the true Next gen footy game but there is nothing next gen about it. oh and the online multi-player sucks.
  15. Football Season 2007/2008

Benitez does not want Owen. If he did, it would of happened by now. the only way I can see it happening is if they have to buy cheap like they did with Bellamy and Pennant.

this is what i said on the previous page. Well I got a promo copy of Dirt for £20 and I am enjoying it but I still think some of the cars are way too floaty. sometimes it feels like you're driving a fish across a lake of ice, the car just swings left and right as if it's trying to throw you out of it. And the braking time of 60-0 in one second is very silly! It is good they left out actual multi-player races over xbox live as it would be more like bumper cars.

now will people believe Eto'o is not leaving! Barcelona star Samuel Eto'o has dismissed any lingering rumours of a potential move to Milan. The Cameroon international had been linked with the Rossoneri after a difficult season in Catalunya, but both president Joan Laporta and head coach Frank Rijkaard have underlined their desire to keep the striker in recent days. Now Eto'o - who has the chance to play alongside good friend Thierry Henry at Camp Nou next season - has spoken of his excitement at the challenge ahead with Barca. "The talk about Milan has finished," Eto'o told the Spanish media. "Laporta and the board have said that I am staying and I have always said to them that I never thought about leaving. "I am excited about the plans for next season. The fact that the club have made it clear that they want me is great too. "I have a close relationship with the president and can say that I would stay here for life because of him." Eto'o also believes that a new set of rules for the Barcelona players would not be a bad idea and that the squad should learn from the mistakes of the past campaign. The Cameroon striker was reacting to Blaugrana president Joan Laporta's speech on Tuesday, where he stated that players should be more responsible and that a new code of conduct would be introduced. "In any place where there is a group there are rules to respect," Eto'o added. "We have been fortunate that Frank and Joan have given us some freedom or, in other words, responsibility. "If they believe that the rules have to be tightened, then it is probably right." After a season that saw Eto'o at the centre of controversy, the 26-year-old was unhappy that so much information found its way to the media. "We will have to learn from what we have been through, so that the press have less room to criticise," Eto'o continued. "There should not be so many leaks and we have to learn that our dirty linen should only be aired in the changing room."
  18. Pro Evolution heads to everything but wii.

It's gonna be a port of the PS2 version so how could the Wii version come out first. As Winning Eleven is not gonna hit Japan on PS3/PS2/360 till around december I think a Wii version will hit Japan in Feb 08 so your looking at spring 08 in Europe.

Eto'o is not going! How many times does Laporta and Eto'o himself have too confirm this before people believe them. I think they will drop Ronaldhino into midfield.. He likes playing in that position for Brazil. then you can have Eto, Henry and Messi upfront in a 4-3-3 formation..
  21. Football Season 2007/2008

Messi-------------------Ronaldinho -------Eto'o-------Henry Tasty!! what are barca gonna play? 4-2-4. thats madness! Barca loast CL and La Liga Title and have now come out showing they are not finished. La Liga next season is gonna be the best!!

Torres bid laughed off by agent Fernando Torres agent has laughed off Liverpool's bid for the Spanish striker. Antonio Sanz, who represents the 23-year-old hot-shot, says Liverpool's bid of £16m plus Luis Garcia falls well short of his valuation of Torres. Sources at Anfield have confirmed that the Spaniard is now the number one transfer target, but Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez will have to dig deep into the club's pockets if he wants to land the striker. Benitez could also face a tough task of luring Torres away from Spain after Sanz told a Spanish radio station he was happy to stay at Athletico Madrid. Sanz said: "The supposed offering of £16m plus Luis Garcia is very insufficient if you keep in mind that Fernando guarantees you 15 goals per year, especially when Nani, an unknown player, cost Manchester United £20m. "Also, Fernando does not want to leave Athletico Madrid and they do not want Fernando to leave them. "The situation is the same as it was last summer and Fernando is flattered by the interest from Liverpool and the other large clubs from Italy. "But he is happy at Athletico and confident of succeeding in Europe with them." http://www.24dash.com/sport/22782.htm

Scotland need to call up Agbonlahor and play him so he cannot play for England. Agbonlahor should seriously consider it as he is never gonna break into the England squad. oh and Steven Taylor should be questioning why England are technically poor and cannot keep the ball.

Damn Ninja Gaiden only sold 46,307 in its first week of sales in Japan. I thought that game would do well and shift PS3's. Trusty Bell on 360 beat it with 49,334 copies sold.
