  1. They are. They won't know how much stock they're getting until the start of November

I wonder why they are saying sold out now then. With American retailers quickly saying sold out, I imagined they had a better idea of stock levels.

  2. Why make pokemon a part of it when Nintendo can just make a whole game based on Pokemon themes, shit would sell.

True, it's had many spin offs of its own, most done well enough. Just imagined with it being a huge franchise they'd have fit in somehow. You could easily imagine your mii wearing a Pokemon costume. There again there's no Pokemon hats in the streetpass quest.

  3. I wouldn't say I've ever lost faith. I've had times where I've been frustrated with Nintendo. They have the ability to make amazing games and add a touch of magic to them that only Nintendo can quite do. The problem is, not all of their games are like this and sometimes you can have a long wait between these games. The last game for me to have their magic was Skyward Sword, and Kid Icraus (kinda). The shame for me is that despite how many amazing franchises they own, the releases can be very staggered.

The last 2 years of the wii have been pretty quiet. And with the wii missing out on so many 3rd party titles, I've often had to get my fix from elsewhere. Until the other day, it was too quiet on the WiiU front, now there is more hope of better 3rd party support.

So, no, I have never lost faith in Nintendo. I just don't like the wait between the games. Now we have Nintendo in HD (at long last) to look forward to, 3rd party support. Still waiting for the big epic Nintendo game, but it'll come - plenty of things to keep us going till then.

  4. Disappointed the Zombie bundle no longer comes with NintendoLand included. If ZombieU and Nintendoland end up costing the same at retail individually, i'd be paying at extra £28 at shopto just to get the controller pro. I'm confused which is the better deal now. Just to cancel my zombieU bundle, get the regular premium pack then buy zombieU seperately?

The ZOmbieU bundles should drop in price really, as everyone originally thought the package included Nintendoland.

  5. Yeah, they said that in brick & mortar stores, the price will be £200

And we wonder why they collapsed

Yeah £200 is steep and there's no way i'd pay if I didn't have the trade in option. But I have gone for the trade in deal. Getting £105 for my old 3ds is good. Otherwise I'd have to be able to sell it independently for around £80 to outdo the offer. Given that it's not pristine condition and everyone is a bargain hunter/ expect perfection on eBay, then taking away postage costs and all the ebay fees and the overall risk of an awkward buyer. Figured it's easier and as cost effective doing Game's trade in deal.

  6. I think I got pretty lucky, didnt have anyone too distracting around me. Did VIP, Zelda was lovely. I thought generally our audience was good, not too noisy during the songs. It was a guy a few seats down from me who shouted to Zelda "you're gorgeous".

  7. Ah Nintendo fans. Spelling doom before something even happens :heh:

Cant see them treating one set of vip ticket buyers in one way, then 4 days later being completely different. And an inside source suggest the same. We can hope the special guests stay for the full meet and greet. I'd love to be wrong though.
