Okay, this may seem like an odd example to some, but Golden Sun......it was an amazing game and it did last some time, but all through the game i was lead to believe that i would be going through 4 towers, battling and having fun. The story kept saying that i'd battle through 4 towers, then suddenly after the second tower the story ended - man, i was disappointed. I agree that i want my value for money from my games, games where i get good replay value (such as puzzle games, multiplayer or games like nintendogs) or games that have a lengthy storyline.

At university we are forbidden from using the terms I or me in our essays. It's been some time since i last wrote an essay, but from what i remember it's supporting your opinion through evidence without making the essay sound personal. I guess it also depends on the subject you are doing, but both psychology and media seem to be against it. It might be better to do the jokes subtly. There again if you are doing Alevels, i dont think they'll be as strict, Or if it's your first year of uni dont worry about it yet, the first year is a practise year, so try things in your essay and see how it goes, the marks dont count to your final degree classification.

That quote doesnt give any evidence to support it. I am at university studying Psychology and Media, my exam last year was focused on video games influence. The real research showed that played video games made people more pumped up and excited, but not angry or responsive to stimuli.

what was funny was people were buying things they could of downloaded on the net for free had they made the effort. if anyone is really desperate to know pm me, but dont expect to make money off it now, the chance has now gone.

it wasnt an ebook i used, i just took advantage of an oppurtunity, unfortunetly it soon ended, but i did make around £2,000 with very little effort - i was lucky, just wish the oppurtunity never disappeared (god knows how much i'd have now).

i had a very brief period of making around £1,100 a week on ebay, god i wish i could still do that now.

I am very online with some people i know, well with most people on my msn. I have been part of this community about a year now but i've not really opened up here, i've not really gotten to know anybody, dont even have any of you on my msn list, so i dont really feel comfy enough to really open up, but it doesnt stop me from voicing my opinions.

It is a cruel thing and is unnecessary. However there have been some interesting points raised. Firstly the comments against the French are ridiculous, you shouldnt be judging a whole nation based on a select few - would you like all of Britain to be judged as fox hunters? As for animal cruelty i see the RSPCA as one of the worst, they put down healthy animals if they dont find a home within a short time period. Companies like the Mars group (you know, Mars and Snickers) especiaaly breed animals for animal testing. I am aware that dogs are a much loved animal here in Britain, but it is interesting how different animals are given a different value on their life - which is usually decided on "cuteness" rather than anything else. But it happens with people as well, people are given different values on their life depending on their status/background. It's good to have a petition but there are many animal issues here in Britain which need to be addressed before we go calling other countries cruel.

What has been said has been jokes, but the amount of comments have been persistent - probably to the point of a bit overbearing. Here's my most current pics (which i dont like)...

read through the thread - loads of people said he should be shot, beaten up, "pistol-whiped". I am not a fan of Docherty or Moss, nor am i pro drugs or ever tried drugs. However the anyone here using the lines 'should be shot' or whatever, is just an immature idiot. We all have people or minorities that may annoy us, but suggesting they should be gotten rid of in some way is going into the realms of eugenics and superiority. Dirty, unworthy of life and scum are the same views that Hitler had of the Jews and went on to kill millions. Rather than wanting to kill or beat up anyone who doesnt fit into your viewpoint of what people should be, you should think of positive solutions to serious problems. And if some of you were severily beaten up, then you'd feel how much it messes you up Psychologically and not wish it one anyone. As for the Kate Moss thing, it was irresponsible of her and not good or someone in the position of being a role model. The response has been overdone and she has been overly targeted, she is far from alone in the celebrity world. The celeb world is full of drugs, sex and anything casual and taboo you can think of.

Ray, your posts have been so vague, that i wasnt sure if you was particularly annoyed with Capitalism or something more personal. I will try to make this short as i need to go to bed soon. It sounds like you had some big plan to form a future together with your girlfriend and now its kinda broken down and you feel resentment towards society for the emphasis it places on money (which is so needed for long distance relationships). I have been in a long distance relationship for some time now and im currently having problems with it, my heart is all over the place. I could tell you that life also has many great things and many wonderful people (you just dont see it on the news and with leaders like Bush you have little hope), however it doesnt seem that you really need an alround hope, your bad words seem more a side-affect of the fustration you're feeling for the plan not working out and fears of not having a future with the one you love. If things are meant to be and you both really want it then it will happen someway in time. Life can throw you all over the place, but if both you and your partner want a future together, then it will happen in time, maybe just a bit longer than you expected. It's not always easy, but try and keep your chin up, dont let depression walk into your life and make things much worse. What has happened is only a "set-back", it doesnt mean you now have no chance for what you want. Okay, i've done my "Mary Poppin's" moment, who knows it might be the one writing depressing messages in a few weeks. PM me if you want to chat.

dont worry about people's reactions, people tend to be stubborn about new things. I remember a year ago the DS was so insulted. 6 months ago it was often said "who would buy Nintendogs" - things change.

I see the DS touch screen and revolution controller as quite simular. The touch screen is interacting with the games in a 2D way (up and down, left and right touching), the revolution is essentially 3D interaction (up down, left right, but also pulling it back and forth). Between the revolution and DS, the DS currently has me more exciting, but thats because we are verging on best of the DS (online soon).
