  1. well that settles it then, just waiting for the gametrailers review, but its now known that this game is NOT going to suck.
  2. Experienced 3 mode is fine the way it is, feels just like red steel 2.
  3. yup using Internet Explorer.
  4. also for the peeps who liked the Red steel 2 controll sceme, The "Experienced 3" mode under the controll settings(for wiimote and nunchuck) almost perfectly mimicks it. Reviewer from ign also used it to review the game(asked him via twitter). Btw is the video showing on my last post, i only get a white screen when i post it::shrug:
  5. review from gametrailers Score:8.6
  6. yea its kinda true what you say there, was reading the article again. The reviewer says that the game is blazing fast and sometimes you need to home on a sping and you dont have the time to react to that. That has more to do with your speed, when it comes to pressing buttons.
  7. another Ngamer(dutch magazine) review: sinse when is 10 hours a bad thing, i dont want a 50 hour sonic game:hmm: So thats 4 good reviews with scores passing 8 (ONM = 8.6 , NGamerUK = 8.6, Nintendo power = 9, Ngamer NL = 8) Could it really be true? a good 3d sonic game, thank you sega!
  8. Got the Magazine myself but sinse its already translated on neogaf ill do some copy paste: Dutch [N]Gamer gives Goldeneye a 8.5 Two guys reviewed it. Pro's: finally, we can play as Bond again! The singleplayer is good, the multiplayer is extremely addictive. This game will keep you busy for a long time. Con's: Graphicly not always as good. Singleplayer at times has to much "standard" shooting sequences and some fans may not like the new additions. Conclusion: Excellent Bond game and a good Wii FPS, both things the Wii was in dire need off. The updates make it very interesting voor veteran and newcomers alike. Not as legendary as the original, but we really reccomend it. Review tidbits: - Graphics are good, but at times the framerate takes a dive like in the original game. Some areas are gorgeous (like Severnaya) but the Spanish nightclub has dancing people which don't look to hot. Lighting in this games is great and the interface is good as well. - Several gadgets are not as cool. Whoopie, a smartphone. Expected more from James Bond, the gadget spy. But shooting stuff is the primary goal and it works like a charm. But, after the fantastic remake of the Dam level, it becomes more of an "shoot stuff and go on though" kind of game. But, there is the possibillity to sneak around for stealth. - Updated story is at times different. - Diffilculty of the game is very pleasing. - Detail their multiplayer games, are very positive about. As addictive as the original.
  9. second review is in, this time from nintendo power: Sonic colours (wii) gets a 9.0 Sonic colours (ds) gets a 7.5 Its known that Nintendo power gave sonic unleashed and sonic and the black knight an 8 and secret rings an 8.5. But the one who wrote the review for sonic colours responded on neogaf. Sounds very good to me, im curious about gametrailers and ign's review. If both of them score the game similar to nintendo power and ngamer, that we finally got the first good 3d sonic game in 10 years:bouncy:
  10. The motionplus thing inside will be activated if the game uses it, for example you can play tiger woods with only the wiimote, but if you play the game with the wii remote + the motion plus sensor wil be activated. It wont magicly make wii sports (not resort) 1:1 the controls for wii sports would be the same, it doenst matter if you play it with the wiimote or the wiimote+. The "Wii MotionPlus INSIDE" at the bottom is mearly for stupid people(so that they dont put in a motion plus attackment) and to make it obviously different from the normal wiimote. If that was on the side, the difference would not be obvious.
  11. Now pictofied! And did you guys see that coming, earlier release than japan? No info on pricing but from what i heard its the same price as the wii remote now.
  12. its likely that we will get info on the new wiiremote+ tommorow, thats all my source could tell.
  13. Nintendo is putting there stupid hat on.... Pretty stupid if you ask me, That would essentially be the same as a wii sports resort pack release (inc a wii and m +) and tell the people that there no concrete plans for wii sports resort or MotionPlus to be released separately . I’m sure of it that the people who are going to buy a red wii (inc. wiimote+) are expecting the same functionality if they are buying extra remotes.
  14. I’m so going to get a black and a white wii remote plus, but I really hope 3rd (and not to forget 1st) party games are going to support it. Developers would develop for the motion plus expensing because it was not included in the wii box, and that it was a peripheral. Hope devs will see the light en use the motion plus tech in titles that would benefit from it (titles that needs precision, sword fighting, tennis you name it). Its so stupid from developers to ditch motion plus support and in the end they need the extra precision that a standard wiimote just cant offer. That Nintendo will phase out the old wii remote (every new wii will have a wiimote+ included), let believe that they see that the motion plus is getting lacklustre support.
  15. I hope nintendo resolves the problem, and putting a much more powerfull product on the market than the 360 (to be future ready). Let me say that im not a graphics whore but i think we got this craptastic support from 3rd parties is the wiis graphical capabilities. Its way to limited, nintendo can say thats its cheaper to develop for but its also more risky for 3rd parties. To have a million dollar product and place it on 2 (or more consoles) is less risky than putting a game on 1 console. Im sure of it that we would have got atleast an assassins creed, or a bioshock (to test the market) but that isnt possible without taking allot more risk.
  16. yea but Q4 2010 sound like a bye bye party from 3rd parties, i hoped that big companies like capcom or ea would announce 1 title for the wii @e3 and that didnt happen, We know we where getting epic mickey and COD6. TGS was always used by 3rd parties also to show there wii games (like last year and the years before)
  17. @ Lost Over There, you can spread all your hate all you want, but the point being that there are virtually none 3rd party games (casual or hardcore) for wii next year. that means no more exclusive 3rd partie games, and that leaves only nintendo games. And nintendo could fill in a 12 month calendar with there games even if they want it. No more games = slowdown of wii sales. Wii sales are already bad in japan and no more games would help that. Would suprise me that skyward sword gets delayed once again and shift to the wii2 or get the twilight princess treatment.
  18. true, but they cant risk loosing lost of marketshare to sony or microsoft, most consumers have hdtvs in there houses and want hd content for it, not downplaying the wiis graphics. but the limitations of the wii gets more obvious evry year ( memory problems, no good online infrastructure) that simply cannot be fixed with a firmware update, without getting a bigger hack scene on the wii.
  19. i honestly think that christman 2012 is too late, by then both the ps3+move and xbox 360+kinect will both be at the 250 price point. another pricedrop for the wii will only encourage impulsbuyers to get a wii, play wii sports and than never touch it again.
  20. im predicting that a wii2 will be released at the end of 2011 or early 2012, that way nintendo got a jump start. Nintendo could easily now make device that is much more powerfull than the ps3/360 at a lower cost.
  21. i know the wii gets the support from nintendo, but its impossible for nintendo to release 10 games a year from there own catalogue. Just dance, ea sports active and carnaval game soon will see HD version on the ps move or even kinect, i even hear that sony is going to market the move as an upgrade of the wii (in commecials/ magazine ads) if we see a major dip in wii sales than nintendo kind of needs to prepare there next console or there going to hurt themselfs in the long run.
  22. wow Tokyo game show is turning out to be a wii ditch party, a smacking 8 games are playable. and now that the pre TGS from both EA and Capcom are over, we can say that both of them didn’t announce any new wii games. Wii's 3rd party is really going down the drain isn’t it? what 3rd party games do we have for 2011, like none?. Wii cant survive 2011 with only zelda and mario sports mix.
  23. im still afraid of image retention on plasma tv, that why i have a lcd panel. I play about 3 to 5 hours in one sitting ( mostly on friday afternoon), i dont want to buy an expansive model to get image retention and burnins. Besides isnt lcd much sharper than plasma.
  24. The problem with my current tv is that if i adjust the sharpness than the text becomes blurry but the jaggies are still there ( less pronounced but still jagged) thats in 480i and 480p mode (yes official nintendo branded cables) Hope that the wii2 will atleast support 1080p for the people with a full hd tv (are they even selling 720p tv's in 2010::shrug:)
  25. anyone?, stores in holland 9 out of 10 times do not allow you to to test your console on a tv. Even if its one screenshot it would really help my out (to know how bad the jaggies look and such).
