    instruments in December apparently

     

    Really? fail...:( I would rather have the game and instruments at the same time, but then again... it is only the drums that are significantly different and it detects whichever kits your using... so still yay for Rock Band early releaseness. :)

     

    but omfg... Gears of War 2, Sonic Unleashed, GH:WT , Rock Band 2, Lips, Banjo Kazooie Xbla / N&B, Left 4 Dead, Tomb Raider : Underworld, Mirrors Edge plus more in the SAME MONTH... can November get any more awesome? :heh:

    Awesome news : peace: but is that supposed to be just for the game or the instruments as well? because so far Play have only just listed the actual standalone game up there, hopefulyl instruments to follow though...

     

    oh and also take a look at the Peripheral range, Madcatz have gone all out it seems... :blank:

    Coca cola company (inc coke, sprite, fanta, dr pepper etc) had a thing where you could win a Wii every day (certain amount of them to give away each day) when you entered codes online from bottle wrappers, rindpulls etc and while I didn't win a Wii I won the runner up prize of a DS lite with New super mario bros. ^^

     

    I allready had both though so I gave the lite to my younger bro as an Xmas present and sold the extra copy of new super mario bros for profitz I think... :smile:

    Anyway I'm definitely just getting this solus for Xbox 360 and it's awesome news that Rock Band 2 is now coming out on the same day I believe? or a week after or something...

    Worse stuff happens in the world... so they got carried away, big deal, I'm not defending their actions but the BBC has a habit of blowing things way out of proportion.

     

    It seems like he didn't even hear the message from his own answerphone but from another source when it was played to him and it was only then that he was (understandably) "Deeply offended" or whatever.

     

    He probably doesn't know a lot about his grandaughters life what she does etc probably only the jist of it, so being told such stuff over an answerphone message would have been a shock to him I guess considering his age and even if it was intended to be funny he probably wouldn't have found it amusing even if he'd know it was a joke as comedy most likely means something very different to him.

     

    Respect to the guy too, he played a well loved character in an excellent British comedy for it's time but I also can't help thinking... what has he done recently? Anyway, apparently his grandaughter pretty much immediately sold her story to the Scum so it clearly wasn't her who was offended but she did make the point that she was upset that they sent the message to her Grandfather who is the innocent partly moreorless but I think she had other reasons for that interview, not to mention the lump sum of cash she would have got for it.

     

    Anyway, bottom line, I like Sachs and I don't think he deserved to be treated that way (even though he did say he would do a phone interview for the show and then didn't) his granddaughter? couldn't care less about because what was said about her br Brandt was probably pretty close to the truth anyway, Brandt, he's ok... sometimes funny, often annoying, constantly trying to be controversial, and Ross? funny sometimes, not so much now as he used to be, sometimes watched his show if someone interesting was on there.

     

    In conclusion... meh.

    So I've done the first training dungeon, I'm guessing thats a default dungeon? if so where does the extra dungeon come in to play which you get with the limited edition code? I got my Master Chief esque armour and energy sword though and loved the way it was all nicely integrated and still manages to fit in loosely with the overall theme, glad I got the ltd edition now, though it was the last one in the shop so it was the only choice really :heh: but yeah good stuff so far. :)

    Personally I'd say £80 - £100 second hand if it's the 20gb model and if you have had it for a few years then maybe towards the £80 but if only a few months maybe more towards the £100 due to the Free RROD warranty lasting three years and that most of them will go wrong within their second year, some within their first.

     

    Just my opinion anyway :smile: but I noticed you can get one with a 60gb HDD for about £160 in some cases maybe with a game for a little bit more, anyway hope this helps. : peace:

    Ok so I found myself stuck in town on the way back from work and then somehow ended up in my local independant Games retailer... and... and.... I caved in lolz. :heh:

     

    I got the last copy of Fable II they had there and it was a ltd edition, what does the bonus downloadable stuff consist of? (haven't played it yet but will do later on) also is it really that good or ever so slightly overhyped but justifiably so I'm guessing...

    ^^^ same but I'd be more than happy to pay £15 for a promo copy :) but either way I'm not too fussed because there is lots coming out and it will probably be that price for a retail copy by the time I actually get round to properly playing it. :laughing:

    Seriously... just read the 360 review of GH:WT on IGN and you'll see why I'm now going with RB:2 for my next set of instruments... still picking up GH:WT solus though to tide me over till Rock Band, even though I'll still have plenty to play.... Banjo on same day. :heh:

    nope, I'm happy to just wait it out... it's just an interface change thats gonna happen whether we like it or not :/ granted it looks good and hopefully will improve things but I'm just kind of attached to the existing one... I know it's still "there" when you press the guide button but it's not the same.

    After seeing a review of GH:WT I think I might now say "fuck off" to the full band kit and just get the game solus... I was gonna go with WT because of the three pads and two cymbals set up but it seems the drums and well pretty much everything else on RB2 are better...

     

    what does everyone else think?

    ^^^ Random... O.o I naturally assumed it would be on it's way out but I guess Three Red Lights isn't always death as it can denote many problems... usually though in my experience, when you get it and then it goes away again you can almost guarentee thats when the problems will occur and that 360 death is imminent. :/

    Very nice indeed ^^ will tide me over till Lazy Eye which is in Rock Band 2 : peace: only one minor complaint though, I would have liked to see Little Lover so Polite in the dlc as well, but there is still hope that they will release that somewhere down the line.

     

    Anyways woot for Silversun Pickups! :D
