Ah ok, just checking, that particular reviewer must have really enjoyed playing it then.
-
And yep it's still packing >> sod it, if it's not sent by the time I have to go out then I'm gonna just get it from my local independent retailer on Thursday.
-
I did say that I wasn't calling the game shit, it was just my initial reaction as in "oh shit" all it means is that the game probably won't sell as well now but then thats probably good as well as bad... anyway, I have read the review and I shall still be getting it as I know that it's the kind of game that I will enjoy playing.
Yes 8.3 is a "good" score but I remember the days when Rare made almost nothing but 9.0 + games but yes I know those days are gone now and while Rare games are still (mostly) quality they will most likely never be the Rare that many remember from eras gone by.
However is nothing else Rare are still fantastically creative and it's this that I love about their more original recent games rather than their fudged sequels, I don't count this as a sequel btw simply because it's labelled as "BK:N&B" more semi sequel I guess but either way I really like the new spin they have chosen to give the gameplay and shall be contently picking this up on day 1. ^^
360 magazine have given it 5 starsOut of 5? or 10...

Just in the slim chance that anyone is considering getting Razorlight's new album, don't rush out to get it, Imo it's pretty average, just listened to the whole thing and while it has a few good tracks at the beggining one in the middle and at the end it sounds slightly better, it kind of tails off with the final track, disappointing... :/
*listening to Snow Patrol to get rid of the slightly bitter taste left by Razorlight*

Still packing, ffs...

IGN score 8.3Shit... but it was kind of predictable (not saying the game is shit btw just my reaction) meh, I'll... still... get... it...? maybe >> *goes off to read the review for self*

Video on IGN showing the install games to HDD feature...
Looks good, gonna keep about 15 - 20gb HDD space on my HDD to store the most recent games I'm playing methinks, it will be a lot better when developers will most likely be able to implement quicker load times by hopefully optimising new games when you install them, but in the meantime at least it will make things quieter.

Wow, alot of people are cancelling their orders on here! Are Caris, Cube and myself the only ones on here who enjoyed the demo and are keeping their orders?I'm still getting it : peace: I only played a couple of the challenges in the demo, the race and Jingo one... race one was fine but I just didn't "get" the Jinjo launching thing... I stopped playing it after that as I have this thing with demo's, if I have a lot to play anyway then I don't like to spend much time playing the demo's as I know I'll be doing that part in the game again anyway and could actually be getting something for it or at least make progress. :/
So yeah I'll still be picking it up, looking forward to playing it with an open mind and enjoying as much as I can of it.

No he never.Yush he did... end of SA2... with the battle... the real end battle... he says two words afaik.

Work or Study... hmm tough decision, not! well I should say not for me anyway, I'd decided that I didn't want to go down the university route ever since I left college; after enduring two - three years there I could take no more of so-called "education" thats not to say I'm condeming it either, lots of people choose that route because it's right for them, it wasn't right for me.
Sure I passed my courses in college, even got an A in something, I believe it was Graphic Design... sidetracking but... I read in the local paper that my tutor who used to teach me in that subject commited suicide a little while after I'd left the college, a shame because I thought he was pretty good at what he did he didn't seem to think so though evidently >> not that I saw that as a sign or anything because I'd allready made up my mind on what route I was taking before that.
T'was a year maybe two, maybe three... (you lose track of time when your claiming benefits because each day tends to merge into one) but then after lots of games playing and little fruition in the way of job-finding (and yes I had made every effort imaginable and I still had time to play a helluvalotofgames) there was sucess! of sorts... as I landed my first job at a local Theme Park! of all places.
I jest now but it t'was a fun job despite a few annoying customers and minor annoyances, I met some interesting people and most of the time just had a laugh so to speak... then when that ended I immediately handed my CV in at my local supermarket, stacked shelves in the wine aisle for a couple of years and then when I wasn't required in that aisle anymore (due to a change in the law) I was given a choice... continue stacking shelves in the fruit and veg aisle or become a cook for the staff, away from the hustle and bustle of the shop floor and straight into running a kitchen and cooking for the demanding staff but tbh it was out of the fire and into the frying pan so to speak because now that I'm in there cooking I haven't really looked back.
Now yes I don't actually like the act of having to go to work, I would still much rather stay at home (wouldn't we all) but it's something that needs to be done, when I'm actually there however I do get a certain satisfaction out of knowing that me being there is helping others and there are certain aspects of food prep etc that I genuinely enjoy, cleaning not so much but hey, it's all part and parcel; it's a demanding job too for what time I spend there... I work for 23 + hours a week but it feels like more lol.
And yet I wouldn't have it any other way, so there you go, I guess some people are more suited to work than study and vice versa... my advice is simple... do whatever the fuck you like (within reason ) as long as you enjoy it to a certain extent then all is good. ^^

@ SCG - Urgh..... we don't mention Banjo Pilot :wink:Banjo what? must have been a figment of my imagination.
-
*cough* back on topic... I played the demo for about 15 - 20 mins, was really enjoying it until I accidentally quit out of it >> but even just that short play pretty much sold the game for me, it is genuinely unlike anything I have ever played before...
I still most likely won't pick it up on release as there is far too much coming out in November (sheesh there really is no pleasing us gamers ) but it is good to know that the game is out there, waiting for when I decide to pick it up and it will no doubt be one that I shall enjoy very much when I decide to give it the time it deserves.

That makes two good Ubishite games in one issue (the other being Rabbids TV Party - 80%). What the hell is this world coming to?!This...
It's only a matter of time now... Gyaaaaaaaah!
-
^^^ agreed, I have to say I am a little more forgiving about all of this, although maybe forgiving isn't the right word as Rare haven't exactly done anything wrong, they have just done something different and for that I applaud them.
For me it's a fresh change and also kind of a natural transition when you look at the way things have been going in the series as regards to vehicles... first you could BE a truck amongst other things in Banjo-Tooie and then there was Banjo Pilot which was focused around vehicles.
So it's not as if vehicles and the world of Banjo are completely astranged from each other, don't misunderstand me as I loved the original Banjo Kazooie... it was the first ever N64 game that I actually went out and bought upon it's release and I loved every minute of it, just as I will enjoy playing through it again on XBLA but Nuts & Bolts is Banjo taken in an entirely different direction and while the demo was huge it was at the same time severly limited as what was there was just a taste of whats to come.

the facebook Tetris app is amazingNot as good as the recent Wii-ware Tetris Party though I bet yeah I know the Facebook version is probably free but meh... I've had no desire to use the already overused site and probably never will do, still each to their own.

Never noticed & i ain't gonna look now:shakeheadI didn't notice, but noticed that Dazzy decided to notice and so I in turn scrolled back up and noticed, lol'd at what was noticable and that the fact that Daz initially noticed it but no one else did no offence meant there btw Daz, just that your clearly quite a perceptive person.
Annnnyway... back on topic... Brrrrrraaaaaaaaainssssssssss!!1!

As I've said, I know 8 is great so it's no issue, for me I think it will be a 9 but I reserve judgement until I play it properly.
