Quoted for truth, I wish they would just stick a Megadrive / SNES d-pad on every consoles controller from now on, it would solve a lot of problems as those were two of the best d-pads imo.

New store = better than before, broken images = fail (they should have had these working for the amount of time they took to change it) but otherwise it's yeah... better. But XBLM and even the Wii shop channel (in terms of design not load times) pwns it imo.

Hmm if they kept the same name for "most" of the Japanese versions then why didn't they keep them for "all"? it's completely nonsensical to change one of the most famous attacks just as it is not to code the game in Japanese voice with UK Subs, it just pisses fans off. :/

The thing is, I only had these problems when playing online so maybe it was just the difference between racing online and offline and the fact that a lot of players seemed to be using uber cheap / hax / annoying tactics >< but lol that is what MK is about I guess as well as the "skillz" I'll just put in a bit ore practice, I'm sure I'll be "pwning" again in no time.

Does it have the option for Japenese speech with english subs? if so I'm interested, if not I really can't be bothered.

Agreed, there isn't anything wrong with the wheel, it works perfectly well for controlling, just not quite as well as the pad imo as I just find out, but for tricks and items the wheel does seem better, especially for wheelies... hmm looks like I may be going back to the wheel. :/ *gives up for now and starts playing brawl again*

After playing this offline I was of the opinion that the wheel is decent After playing this online I think otherwise... Cheapest deal would still be that £29.99 copy that I have pre-ordered with Play.com but they didn't fulfil as they chose to give priority at launch to those who paid the higher price >< your still welcome to buy it off me if you want Deathjam as I haven't cancelled it yet but it may be a while before they get them back in stock. Otherwise try Woolworths but the stock situation is sposed to be bad everywhere so if you want it now and see it in ANY shop, I would just buy it.

I haven't played the games yet but from what I understand of the system I'm gonna say Yes.

I've K-O'd Pit loads of times with Ganon and Bowser... tbh I think it just depends on the way you play them, also Ganons final smash pwns Pits easily IMO plus it's more difficult to avoid unless your allready airborne whereas Pits final smash I find ways to avoid getting K-O'd by it quite easily.

I didn't manage to get my two copies (yet) there was a fuck up due to the courier service, when the boxes were picked from the factory from delivery, they have their own area codes 08 is for the area where I was due to buy it from and 80 is somewhere up country seems someone at the factory end read the box upside down. Apparently it's not the first time it's happened to them as they are an independent retailer but meh, it's still ok, he should have them in today but I'm gonna pick mine up tomorrow as he's gonna hold the two copies for me, so I'll get it tomorrow on my way to work, day off today and cba to go in there to get it. Besides I've got Ikaruga and SSBB to play, to everyone else who allready has Mario Kart; I hope your all enjoying it.

Meh... I don't care about the unbalanced items complaints etc, it's the way Mario Kart has always been and always will be, it's part of the challenge of trying to win a race IMO, some power-ups that are used against you can be dodged / deflected, others can't then theres the element of luck... Basically the challenge is being able to win despite the unpredictable nature of the way each race plays out but above all for the most part it doesn't matter if you come 1st, 3rd or 12th cos it's so damn fun. ... though it's stilll nicer to win.

first level I think it includes the trigger move as well, pus I think you have to do it in All mode and not chapter, other than that as long as you haven't fired a single bullet on stage 1 you should get it after the boss battle.

I've just beaten Misago (the fourth boss) ^^ gonna save getting to the fith and final chapter until tomorrow I think and I'll save the A rank achievements for co-op mode.

Btw Deathjam, that copy from Play, it's status went back to preorder so I won't be getting it around launch from them, it'll be whenever they get their next shipment in :/ do you still want it? afaik it's still gonna go through as £29.99 as soon as they get it if I don't cancel, so anyway let me know.

Getting my two copies from my independat retailer today ^^ (one for me and one for my brother) they are only getting 10 in (they ordered 60) but I'm still getting mine it seems as my name was on the list before they ran out of places to allocate.

If this is real then OMFGBBQHAXLOLAWESUM... If they continue to call it Z and implement the weapons poorly then Face-Palm fail... Seriously, I don't think F-Zero needs weapons, it's the precise control and second to none gameplay that has always made it succesfull; add weapons and you take away part of the players concentration that would normally be focused soley on the boosting and turning. It could still work but only if they implement it well but tbh unless it's made by Amusement Vision then I have no faith in it.

re-releasing the Wavebird for Wii would be nice... re-releasing it with a recharable battery pack and RUMBLE FUNCTION would be nicer... If the 360 pad can do it, then so can a re-released Wavebird in this day and age, otherwise whats the point? might as well stick with an original wavebird.

On second playthrough, got the second boss achievement and got to chapter 3, then I started from chapter 3 and got the third boss achievement (that boss is a bitch. Oh and Cube... don't worry "everyone" sucks balls at Ikaruga when they first play it, even me... >>' but if you really can't get anywhere with it then try the following just to get a feel for the game... Difficulty Easy - lives 5 - continues on - play by just trying to defeat avoid enemies as and when you can - don't worry about chains for now - change polarity (black or white) when a large mass of bullets comes your way of that colour - black absorbs black, white absorbs white - "eat" as many large groups of dots (bullets) as you can then use the underside triggers to unleash a mass of energy on the enemies - and lastly... try not to die. I hope thats of some help anyways but I reckon if you follow those steps to start off with then you'll be pwning the game in no time, then once you've pwned the game, you can try going for chains to get the uber impossible A rank achievements, have fun.

Ikaruga is now up on XBLA for anyone who wants to download it which is what I'm doing right now ^^ quick download too, I can't wait to start playing this again, it's been far too long... *Edit* First go (in ages since I last played it) I tried it with no continues on Normal and got to Chapter 2 :/ not bad but not great and I kept on making "noob" mistakes as I'd forgotten about certain patterns in the game, got one achievement allready though for the first boss ^^ gonna keep on playing for a bit. *Edit 2* Dot Eater get! ^^ and O.o unlocked the Dot Eater leaderboard! seems theres a scoreboard for playing through THE ENTIRE GAME without firing any bullets... sheesh one lvl was back enough. :P
