  1. It is. They didn't even bother to update the years E3 2012 site <meta name="keywords" content="nintendo e3, nintendo, e3, e3 2012, nintendo e3 2012, nintendo e3 presentation, e3 presentation, wii u, wiiu, 3ds, new nintendo system, new nintendo console, wii at e3, nintendo 3ds at e3" /> http://web.archive.org/web/201205300...nintendo.com/? And the E3 2013 one <meta name="keywords" content="nintendo e3, nintendo, e3, e3 2012, nintendo e3 2012, nintendo e3 presentation, e3 presentation, Wii U, new nintendo system, wii at e3, nintendo 3ds at e3" /> http://web.archive.org/web/201306050....nintendo.com/
  2. Ok. I just grabbed this from the web archive for the E3 2012 site <meta name="keywords" content="nintendo e3, nintendo, e3, e3 2012, nintendo e3 2012, nintendo e3 presentation, e3 presentation, wii u, wiiu, 3ds, new nintendo system, new nintendo console, wii at e3, nintendo 3ds at e3" /> There we have it.
  3. Because it's almost certainly erroneous. But, I could be wrong. Stranger things have happened.
  4. It's just leftover keyword code. People are reading way too much into it.
  5. Or leftover keywords from every other E3 site they've had :p Unless we're getting Wii games here...
  6. They use Youtube and Twitch now
  7. I completely disagree. That's just come from your belief of what conferences should be and should have. There is zero reason to conclude that they're doing this because they don't have the content.
  8. Nothing, as far as I know.
  9. But even the non-gaming media know that E3 is not about the conferences. It's all about the show floor.
  10. I meant that you were mistaken with your belief, not with what others were thinking :p
  11. People can cope, but that doesn't preclude it from being ridiculously frustrating.
  12. You would be mistaken, sir.
  13. I don't think it's just negative comments he's going on about. It's the constant negative every single post continually and repeatedly.
  14. That's what they want you to think
  15. A presence that is even more beneficial for the consumer at home, thanks to things like Treehouse Live. Wouldn't be surprised if we got a plethora of Developer Directs again, too
  16. What are you on about?
  17. How is that logical? You do realise that the amount they showed in the E3 Direct last year is on par with what they'd show in a conference. It was just shorter because they didn't waste 10+ minutes on gameplay demos, trendy guest stars and pauses for applause.
  18. But the people who actually went to the Nintendo booth on the show floor did come out all positive. It's just people on the Internet who feel it's all about the conference who did not. Shame that guy is misreporting the news.
  19. I will when it stops being true :p
  20. For us gamers at home, I completely agree
  21. The thing that's interesting is that they are using the Nokia Theater for the Smash Bros. Invitational. I'm wondering if they'll just show the Nintendo Digital Event there for the media and then lead into it.
  22. It's just a shame they've gone for a digital event again rather than a conference. I'm waiting for the "Nintendo skips E3" crap again. They needed the conference for the media to give a crap. As @Goron_3 has said, it's all about image, unfortunately, and Nintendo skipping the middleman again causes the middleman to get annoyed and thus the cycle begins again.
  23. Actually this warranted its own thread Run-down Nintendo Digital Event presentation: June 10th 9am PDT Smash Bros Invitational at E3 - Tournament for thousands Smash Bros Wii U Demo at Best Buy in America Nintendo Treehouse Live: Daily streams of stuff from the show floor And, best of all: NOA actually did something humoruous Press Release
