Hey mate, cheers for that. I called up netgear tday and it turns out that was exactly the problem, i typed in the router's IP addy and managed to set it right. Havent been off mario kart since! Cheers bud.

Hey sorry if this has been posted before. I've been trying to get my Wii connected to the internet and so far it's been an 8 hour struggle!!! I've had plenty problems but i think i've managed to single it down to changing the channel of my wireless router. I've tried typing my PC's IP address into my web using Internet Explorer, but no luck. I have a Netgear router with 3 other laptops using the connection, but tbh i don't even know if this is relevent!! Any help on how to change my wireless router's channel to either 1 or 11 (as reccomended by other websites) would be much appriciated! And again, sorry if this has been posted before but im getting impatient, i'm dying to play Mario Kart online! Thanks.

I wouldn't rule it out, after watching the video that was posted on this thread it shows u how close we really are to it, it shows us that VR is attainable. I think its somethin that gamers should be excited about, but i agree with whats being said, a 5 year plan, somewhere in 2014/15. I think in the mean time we'll have to wait and see if Wii HD arrives!

I thought i ws the only one to hate indy, i think its bloody dreadful. Im into hip hop and dance and cannot wait for the new Busta Rhymes album to come out.

Hey thanks alot for ur input troops, i think i agree with the general consensus that it wont happen in the near future, although im sure its somethin that all interests us. like someone said, 2013 seems a bit more realistic for this sort of technology, why ruin the winning streak nintendo are on with this. When the Wii stops selling so well i think thats when nintendo will play this little card.
