  2. Mario Party 8

super mario party will be the online one. otherwise its not super.
  3. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

Tis funny because I thought Prime's level design was far better than Echoes. Music andsound effects were also much better in prime, especially in the phendrana regions with the scary sheeloth things, and the chozoey chants in the fire regions. Mines music was also good.
  4. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

Yeah thats kinda what gave me the thought: I was playing echoes and i was going through this big glass bridge suspended above in the sky and you can see stuff below that looks really cool, like foresty areas (Torvus?) Also in prime when you're in a similar bridge above the impact crater and theres a huge hole in the ground. Thinking more, i remember there's a part in the mines in prime (where all of the ice, wave, power troopers jump out at you, well there's a door that denies access. Being able to re-explore and having it open would be very interesting.
  5. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

I was thinking recently, you know that in Corruption you travel around different planets (same as hunters) that have been corrupted, well wouldn't it be cool if some of the planets you had to explore were aether and tallon4? that would be so amazing, they could make it so the 2 planets have evolved slightly with maybe higher technology, but with similar sorts of environments and places youve been to before but modified. Id love to re-explore tallon again with different enemies etc. I think both of these planets should be corrupted again and you have to help out the luminoth/chozo and they give you the latest equipment etc. Retro could do a lot with this, and it would be a really cool feature. I hope this may happen.
  6. Rockstar Table Tennis coming to the Wii?!

I was thinking, games like Wii Play and Wii sports may have put a lot of pressure on publishers to make a good sports game based on just one thing. They've set a high standard with most of them and Rockstar (and other developers) will have to make something special to gratify a purchase of a non-compilation of sport games. It doesn't help that table tennis is quite a simple concept for a game, so even if it is better than the Wii Play version it may still get bad reviews because it isnt enough of an improvement.
  7. Metroid Prime

Good point, but that doesnt really explain it because the puzzles arent really getting harder or even much different. Why do you get a high (i know i do but...) even if the puzzle is actually quite simple. As ive said, puzzles in games could be brought to a whole new level, the puzzle genre/part of game at the moment could be further defined and improved with more realistic puzzles that dont give you the solutions on a plate.
  8. Metroid Prime

I know, youve explained what ive said in my previous post, the level design is very good, and i guess thats what makes a puzzle. Puzzles should be made less obvious and so the environments dont give away obvious clues. Instead of lighting a torch and hoping it does something have something a lot more complicating and makes you think for a good few minutes. Dont make a puzzle revolve around an obvious central object, use various things that you may just give a once over, and implement them into a tricky puzzle.
  9. Mario Party 8

You gotta love Boo's cackle when he earns a star on MP as someone mentioned, the visuals have improved considerably.
  10. Soul Calibur Legends

Wow, this is a game that the Wii is in need of. Looks very good.
  11. Metroid Prime

I know, but is it really a puzzle or just a give-away when you can do the puzzles when you're 12 but you'd still call them puzzles if you were 50. The puzzles make you think a little bit, but they are very easily solved no matter the age. We know when we play Corruption that we'll be able to complete all of the puzzles.
  12. Metroid Prime

I just thought, and this doesnt just apply with metroid, that even when you can complete a game when you're 12, you'd still want to play the 'sequel' to the game when you're 21, even when it becomes a lot easier. Or does i become easier when your older? Or do you get the same experience no matter what age. We all know that we will be able to complete Corruption fairly easily, but what is it that makes us want to play the same sorts of games? Is it how fun it is or how cool the levels look? Its a weird thought that is difficult to come to terms with. I hope someone understands me...
  13. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

I'm with mcj I found the keys, especially the 9 sky temple keys, really difficult to locate. I found 6 of them flukily and I had to get an faq fo the other 3 because none of the clues meant anything to me. It was much better in Prime when they just gave our the rooms. Ammo was unneccessary in Echoes. It was only there because they needed an ammo system in the multiplayer, which sucked badly may I add, and they just thought 'lets keep it in teh single play3r!'
  14. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

Thats what i always think, even though there probably wont be any news, im still hopeful. Ive probably dashed someones hopes by posting this.
  15. Mario Party 8

Thinking about it now, I want to rebuy it, great memories, and the crapy super-dual mode, which was just... weird di anyone else remember MP5?
  16. Mario Party 8

The best ever game in Mario Party was leaf leap (in 5).
  17. Shigeru needs to stop believing that he is always right and that others are taking the wrong path. He said he could create a game like Halo but chooses not to. Why not? He could make it more unique and it'd sell amazingly, but he's being stubborn and sticking to his way of making games - which isnt bad, mostly good - but he should try more than one method.
  18. Football Season 2006/2007

I was going to say that they are both similar players, but Carrick has been a legend
  19. Football Season 2006/2007

Arsenal have Toure If and when Alex Ferguson leaves United, I think Coppel will take over. We're going to get Owen Hargreaves this summer I think. Photos of Fergie and Owen shaking hands await. Im not sure if he's worth the money though, we'll have to see.
  20. Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Spoilers Topic)

Smash Bros Melee is such a huge/epic/engulfing/gripping/compellingly expansive game. You must buy, unless you dont want to spend half of your life playing it.
  21. Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Spoilers Topic)

I could never get used to the controls on those types of games because it is hard to understand which button makes you go where. I always fell off the edge or bounced into an enemy. Annoying. Good cartoon, clever how Q-Bert is going down the stairs.
  22. Football Season 2006/2007

Problem with Arsenal: No Patrick Viera replacement.
  23. Football Season 2006/2007

None of us want you banned, Its just that this being a 'geeky' forum most people here are quite intellectual and dislike slouchy typing. Never say soccer!!! Unless you're name is David and you've gone to play football to a lower standard than you're capable of.
  24. Football Season 2006/2007

Nah, it could have gone either way. Chelsea came close quite a lot too with kalou's shot saved and joe cole being marginally offside. Fair result overall. 1. Thats f*cked up. 2. I don't think he's trying to get you banned... 3. I personally find it annoying as well. 4. You're practically the only person who does txt language to your extent. 5. Stop telling him to get a life, when clearly being on a nintendo forum isnt the ideal life situation.
