Just started this yesterday and it is indeed, epic. Lovely game so far.

Not impressed by either next gen console and their line up tbh but it doesn't really matter for me as I'm gonna be waiting until next year to invest. Come on, with GTA5 and Batman still to come, there's plenty of life in this gen! But I digress. I came to this thread to say how wonderful the console looks. The gorgeous controllers. I don't know if it's just me but the actual console itself, how it looks as well as the controller are really important to me. And PS4 wins me over, hardcore - although I gotta say, the new Xbox One controller looks mighty fine too.

Agreed this season has been decent! Highlight: Seeing more of Dexter's babysitter (forgot her name). In less clothes. Yum.

Having thought about this game again and my time with it, I must say it didn't exceed my expectations. It's a beautiful game, probably one of the most visually appealing I've seen this generation. This coupled with the fact that it was made by one of my fave developers (Level-5) made excitement levels go through the roof. Maybe I got over hyped for it, but I really thought it would deliver considering how good Dragon Quest 8 was on PS2. That was my favourite game ever but NNK didn't match that. Combat is really boring and the story wasn't amazing. Best things about the game? Visuals and Drippy.

£8.99 through the Xbox game sale. Very tempted by Left 4 Dead 2 as well....

Definitely my game of last year. Absolutely loved this and was completely addicted to it! The story isn't amazing but all the side missions/hunting was great.

Neither a masterpiece or 'massively overrated'. In fact I think its pretty underrated within my group of friends. Personally, its one of my favourite films. I admit the second half isn't as good but the opening to this is jizz worthy. I dont see it as solely sad and depressing. Yeah sure it is a bit sad but its the way the story is told...its freakin beautiful man. Seeing the couple first meet when they were young and then getting married. Awesome. Then finding out that they can't have kids and the eventual death of his wife. Not so awesome. But the way the story is told in this short opening...I still rate it as one of the best openings to a movie. Animated or not. Oh and how could I forget Doug? One of the best characters after Russell.

Not interested in this or the PS4 as of yet. Waiting for the games. The games alone will decide which console I'm getting. Simple really. Sometimes I wish Microsoft/Sony realised this instead of just talking about it.

Having caught up with the reveal, can't say I'm too impressed really. The console itself doesn't look great. As mentioned before it looks like a modern VCR but to be honest, I don't care about the look/size too much as long as we're getting a well made product that won't overheat/die within months a la 360. This whole kerfuffle about second hand games really puts me off as well. Fuck the activation codes process. It's all bollocks. The fact that Microsoft aren't being crystal clear about this and just spouting their usual bullshit doesn't make me trust Microsoft at all. Overall, I think I need to see more of the Xbox One (and PS4) to make up my mind about the next gen. Right now, both don't really appeal to me that much, but that may change after E3 where they show the most important thing: the games. For consoles which say they're all about the games, both Microsoft and Sony haven't shown anything that impresses me. At all. Think I may turn to PC gaming for the first time at this rate...

Just nabbed myself a copy of this on ebay for less than £20 delivered! Bargain. Looking forward to playing this next week.

Haha you're right, so far it's getting better and better. I just finished the 'parachute bit'. So frustrating, required about 5 times to actually complete. But apart from that, the game is seamless. Just reached the shanty town!: peace:

Having received this game from Shorty (thanks again bud), its decent. I'm only a couple of hours in and I am impressed with the graphics but hate the QTE moments. Thankfully they seem to be few and far between. One thing which is holding me back from enjoying this as much as I could be is Far Cry 3. I keep comparing TR with FC3 and I don't really know why considering they're quite different. I absolutely loved FC3 and was addicted to that shiz. TR doesn't have quite a hold on me just yet. Early days yet mind....

I know this is a long shot, but anyone willing to exchange their copy of Tomb Raider (360 version) for one of my games: Ni No Kuni and Dishonored (360)? Just to borrow lol. Desperate to play this, but money is super tight! WAH
