    i've...noticed a lot of movie/tv related threads starting~

    how about an "other media" board (obviously with a better name than that...) for topics like current and retro film, tv and maybe even books... ??

     

    tho that may leave the chitchat board feeling a little sparse... :wtf:

     

    and music.

     

    Putting all music into one thread is never good IMO.

     

    I was actually thinking of suggesting this the other day but I got distracted by some dust or something.

    Funnily enough, the first one that springs to mind is EA's FIFA08. That was certainly purposefully stripped of content to fit in with their "casual" gaming departments' business plan for the Wii. There's no technical reason whatsoever to explain the lack of any kind of focussed single player content. They did it because they had their ideas of who the average Wii gamer was, and obviously they came up with the further idea that he didn't want involved gaming.

     

    Idiots.

     

    or perhaps Fifa was rushed so it wasn't coming out towards the end of the season like PES.

    Everyone should check out Adele, unless you already have and think she is shit.

    Her album is a tad over produced compared to her demos and other crap that had been floating around. check it foolz.

    Isn't the slowdown in the overworld? and isn't the overworld there just to join the game together?

     

    So why would it effect the action?

     

    Why should they tone down the visuals when it only effects it in non key moments?

    Ok guys what is the ipod(5th generation) headphone port actually made of, shit? Its broken on two ipods in one year and its now out of warranty so I can't just get another replacement.

     

    The specific problem is that they stop outputting sound from one ear. It happened on a mates and they apparently said it's because he had the cheek to wrap his headphones around the ipod whilst it wasn't in use.

     

    Anyone experience similar problems or know how much it costs to repair?
