    The other day when i said i wish i was Japanese, I was taking my wants too far ( i wouldn't really want to be Japanese) .

    I would love to visit Japan though because i do love the culture and definately do not have a warped perception of it. I'm aware that it has exactly the same problems as the rest of the world and that going to japan is not walking into a giant anime show. :D

    When this comes out I know for a fact that I wont be playing against all of these experts. Multiplayer gaming to me is about having a laugh with some mates and you cant do that unless you are at the same level as your opponent.

     

    Im mainly a single player kind of gamer and I like to get through alot of games rather than spending time on mastering one. That said though I do respect the people that can just stick to one game and play it constantly to better themselves.

     

    Its like when Mario Kart DS arrived and the whole snaking issue came up. Well done for those who mastered it but I would never take the time to do so nor would I play against those who can do it, much like all of these techniques in Smash Bros.

     

    As I said earlier, when playing the MANY games of Smash that I had with my mates it was all about running around, lobbing items, avoiding pokemon and bascially having a great old time. These are the people I will be looking to play over the internet when this game arrives.

     

     

    Play me. I played the game to death, but never truely mastered the game like others. I just had fun and enjoyed the experience of the multiplayer mayhem that Smash Bros was able to create. In mario kart i did snaking without realising i was doing it and never had to learn the skill but i check to see if the other player does it as well before i use it. I also like playing those who are skillful as well because it helps to impove my own skills at the game. :D

    suppose we need to come up with team names right? or we just using our forum names for the league tables etc..

     

    It would probably be easier to use our usernames but it would be fun to make up some team names. Mine would basically be the same name anyway.

    Some suggestted "Rules"

     

    Team/Stadium:

    - Everyone choses a striker (Of course, they don't have to chuse until their first match), and has to keep the same striker for every game.

    - Everyone also choses a "home" ground - so we can have 2 matches against each team instead of one (people can chose the same striker/ground)

    - On top of this, they also chose 5 sidekicks, 2 or more can be the same character, to chose 3 from each match.

     

    (So, 1 Striker, 5 sidekicks, 1 stadium)

     

    I think everone having their own "team" and "home ground" will make it more interesting

     

    We should have the same time and options (bar stadium - that should be the home team's stadium)

     

    People will be put into groups (random order - done via The Hat), and pley everyone in the group twice (one home, one away).

     

    Like the champions league, first 2 from each league go to the next round (League 1 winners Vs League 2 second, League 2 winners Vs League 1 second, etc).

     

    These will have 2 legs (1 home, 1 away).

     

    Final will be 1 leg, and take place in a random stadium

     

    And the obvious no cheating, disconnecting, or lying about results (if you want, take a photo just in case) rules.

     

    Anyone agree with these?

    These rules sound good to me, but what if someone disconnects through a bad wifi connection. Is that just bad luck and they lose the match or is there a retake?

    I hear that Animax (a 24hr anime channel) will be launching in the UK some time this year. It is allready having a test run in central Europe and should be airing in the UK in the third or forth quarter of this year.....heres hoping :)

     

    That would be a awesome channel. I wonder what anime they'd show.
