  1. so after wrapping up the Platinum on Wolfenstein: The Old Blood the other day I've now also managed to get the platinum on The Division thanks to @Hero\-of\-Time turning rogue agents so I could get that last pair of trophies!

I also forgot to add to my list that I played and completed Gone Home, obviously it's not much of a game, but I enjoyed the story and how it was told with you walking through the house picking up the clues as you went. Not 100% it yet since I can't seem to get the 1 minute speed run trophy despite me doing it almost perfectly several times

I also completed the "story" mode on NBA 2K16. Not played a basketball game in years and it's definitely a lot more technical than it used to be. Pretty enjoyable game, can see me playing the odd game here and there.

  3. Yeah, they require a little trial and error. I watched a few videos for each level to see how best to tackle them. Some of them are pretty easy but then you some where the score needed is incredibly tight.

We need to set up a boosting session sometime to knockout that rogue trophy for The Division. I want that platinum done and out the way! :D

Got my platinum on Wolfenstein, some of them were really annoying and then others just clicked :)

I'm up for the Division one whenever, just let me know

  5. Finally got around to playing Day of the Tentacle: Remastered.

I loved all these point and click games when they came out in the 90s, glad they're sort of making a comeback now.

Love the humour in these - all the Lucasarts games of the time really - hopefully we get more re-releases.

Had to use a guide for some of the more obscure trophies - still managed to solve the puzzles on my own though :)

Another platinum for this years list

Also managed to complete the story and most of the trophies on Wolfenstein: The Old Blood - the expansion to The New Order. It's another great old school shooter, I don't think it's quite as good as The New Order was, but I still really enjoyed it - think I'll be looking into picking up Doom shortly (I know it's a different developer)

Just have the Challenge trophies to do for the platinum which are slightly annoying so I think I'll play something else and come back to them :)

  7. Can't believe that goal by Robson-Kanu, was screaming at him to lay it off, and he does that turn taking three defenders out of the game and then the composed finish, simply outstanding

  8. I went back into my backlog again and finished my first ever playthrough of Uncharted: Drake's Fortune which had been on hold from October last year.

It was a pretty enjoyable game, I played it on crushing for the trophies so suffered a fair few deaths along the way. I did like the story and the platforming but some of the combat just felt unfair at times (but that may just be me).

Looking forward to giving Among Thieves a go, but going to play something else in the meantime as need an Uncharted break right now :)

  9. finally got round to finishing off Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor this weekend, I'd started it when it came out and had almost finished the story but for some reason moved on to other games without finishing it.

I really liked the nemesis system in the game and that the Orc Captains would remember their previous encounters with you if you died or they/you ran away

Combat was a clone of the Batman games so it was well done. The executions were obviously a lot more brutal in this though :)

  10. Making a return to the thread, not actually completed many new games since my last post in February!

Comlpeted the story line in The Division, really liked the game, just haven't got round to doing the last few things required for the Platinum, should be easy enough to get if I can find some friends to help with the dark-zone stuff.

Felt an itch for a wrestling game so picked up WWE 2K16. Whilst nothing will probably ever live up to my childhood favourites of No Mercy and Wrestlemania 2000 it was still pretty enjoyable, and the presentation of the whole thing is amazing.

Working through Stone Cold's career was awesome, I grew up in the Attitude era and it brought back so many memories

Fully completed Lego Jurassic Park. I really like the Lego games, although I must say that getting the platinum on this was a bit of a slog and involved a lot more gonig back and forth than any other Lego game I've played.

Cut-scenes as always were great, the Lego take on certain scenes was pretty amusing (especially since they make it so that no-one dies)

Picked up Murdered: Soul Suspect from Canadian PSN since it was working out at £2.50. I did enjoy the story and didn't see the twist coming. The combat sort of did feel like it was tacked on, but I liked getting the collectables and reading up on the history of Salem as I progressed through the game. Was definitely worth a play at that price.

Currently working my way through Chibi-Robo! Zip Lash on my 3DS, really don't like how it doesn't just let you move to the next level, but I've gotten good at getting the spinner to stop at 1 so I can just get to it.

It's a fairly decent platformer, couple of annoying sections though. Glad I didn't buy it at full price.

  11. With the 1.1 update hitting next week, do any other level 30 agents want to start running challenging missions in preparation for the first incursion? Also, would be good to get some 4 man teams running the dark zone, safety in numbers and all that!

All in all the update sounds pretty good, incursion, gear sets, trading, supply drops in dark zone, daily/weekly assignments. At first the crafting nerf coming with the update sounded bad but now that all level 30 named NPCS kills will give a high end drop, it should make end game loot more exciting and take us away from the crafting table for high end gear.

I'd be up for this, still need my Dark Zone trophies and do want to try the Incursion at some point

  12. I've completed the main story and reached lvl 30 and I really enjoyed it, can see myself playing this for a while if I can get people to play with

I did have one massive technical glitch on a mission, some of the textures didn't load properly and I fell through the world. Had to close my game down and relaunch it to resolve it.

  13. Worked through the rest of Teslagrad today after starting it towards the end of last year. (think it was on Plus at some point)

Pretty enjoyable Metroid-vania style game but mostly non combat apart from the boss fights

Had good puzzle elements that for the most part weren't too annoying and it's another Platinum in the bag for the year

  14. So I decided to pick up Firewatch on launch day on PS4 despite the warnings of technical issues.

It's a stunningly beautiful game, the atmosphere it has is brilliant.

Yes it is a bit short (I completed it within 3 hours) but I could see myself playing through it again as I really enjoyed the story

I did have some tech issues - semi regular frame drops and 1 crash, but nothing that really took me out of the experience.

I'd say it's definitely a game worth picking up if you like story driven games.

  15. Well finished Life is Strange over the weekend, really liked the experience, went back and forth over my decisions a few times

I did manage to save Kate, I think it's as long as you stood up for her with David and saw the letter from her father in her room then you can get the dialogue options to save her

I knew Chloe was going to be in a wheelchair as soon as the door opened. I too made the choice to end her suffering, that episode was just so sad overall

I also saw the twist with Mr Jefferson coming as soon as he was behaving weird at the party

I ended up saving Chloe over the town, as I thought she deserved to live

I really liked the concept and loved the music, a lot of it took me back to my younger days :)
