personally I enjoyed the run where Daniel Way was the writer, although it was more humour based than the character was normally and it has a mixed rep from the long term Deadpool fans the current run written by Brian Posehn and Gerry Duggan is supposed to be pretty good as well (starts with a story called Dead Presidents) There's also a mini series called Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe which was a fun read but obviously completely outside continuity

It did feel more like an old school shooter, even with the limited cover mechanics they had in place. Think I will be picking up the Old Blood as can get it quite cheaply at the moment, but going to play Life is Strange and maybe some more backlog first

Worked my way through Wolfenstein: The New Order over the last few days after picking it up a couple of months ago. Really good game, one of the best FPS I've played in a while. Really liked the weapons and the mini challenges to unlock perks. Added bonus was the lack of really annoying trophies! Most I got through gameplay without needing to go out of my way too much. Finished the last chapter earlier, did the mop up on trophies and got my platinum

I've got a beta key for PS4, got it all downloaded and ready to try this weekend

Finished the story in Transformers Devastation last night, really enjoyed the game even with it being a bit short. Now I've got to work on the grind that is the trophies!

Completed my first game of 2016 The Talos Principle on PS4 I'm a sucker for puzzle games and this one is really good, some of the puzzles were pretty straightforward, but the further you get in the game they get a lot more convoluted. Managed to solve the majority on my own, only looking up a guide for a couple and some of the collectables. 1st Platinum of the year

I didn't get as much done this year as I'd hoped and forgot about this thread. Did manage to nab the platinum in Assassins Creed Syndicate to end the year though. Will definitely keep more of a record for 2016!

I've found defending to be better this year, pace isn't as killer as it was last year.

I'm ok generally with any day apart from weekends I could potentially miss the odd Tuesday and Wednesday night games due to being at an actual football match, but I don't mind

hard to say, they spent a lot longer in the prison in the comics than they did on the show (almost 3 years worth of issues) but added in some other stuff that wasn't in the comics - the hospital from season 5 for example I don't think they'll be running out of comic storylines anytime soon

The tv show has just about got to where the comics were when the show started, but in the comics we've had a years worth of issues out in 6 months and they skipped a year at one point as well

well there were times last season that he went a bit crazy, and they did (rightly) sack his son

and it's still £6m less than they paid for Andy Carroll

yeah really enjoyed the last couple of nights, some quality goals last night as well from all 4 of us

If I'd been watching that live I would have had the same reaction as the GameTrailers guy woke up went to Eurogamer and was just like WTF trying to figure out if I can afford to go to the $500 level :p
