  1. ^ Didn't she initially say 8 tracks were going to be released off of Born This Way?

Though maybe that's changed... it always seemed too many.

I don't remember how much she ever said. She probably did say 8 but she loves to troll sometimes :p

I know that she plans to release videos for non-singles (Government Hooker) and do other little things with her album. I doubt she's finished with it. She also replied to one fan saying that she'll be doing something with Sheisse soon! Happiness! : D

  2. I had a funny night last night -- in a failure way -- but it was so sitcom-y in those moments it was hard not to laugh.

Myself and a few friends decided against going to a pub so we went to the beach instead. We were all a little tipsy but not drunk and it felt so nice to have the salt air with us at 10pm. I even went barefoot. Of course, I soon realised the wine I bought needed a corkscrew so myself and a friend went back to my residence. It began raining then so it was good we left (& the tide came in ridiculously fast and we were somewhat trapped). I forgot my card-key though so had to wait in the rain for someone to open the door.

I ruined the cap of the wine with my awful wine opening skills (bad waiter). I had to push it inside the wine with a chopstick. The pressure of this caused most of the wine to be shot right into my face. Ensue breathless laughter. I poured it all into a bowl and drank from it till 1am.

Finally I walked my friend home [we ran / skipped / rolled to our voices singing 'Colours of the Wind'] and by 2am I bought myself a bag of chips. Nom. It was fun. We pretend we're German superstars.

  3. If you are both close friends then I see no alternative to meeting her! If she means something to you, I (personally) would deem the 6 hr journey worth the 2 hr meet-up. It would be awful if you were to regret not seeing her / others before you move.

You sound like you need a little breather :) Relax and know that what happens is what the Universe had in mind. [Probably being patronising, sorry :p]

  4. I like Madonna. I really do enjoy her music but I'm not sure about that performance. Perfect? It was a little lazy & as far as I'm concerned if you're going to lip-sing...uhr -- no. I'm presuming though, it sounds like she did.

It was enjoyable, I'll admit. It kept my attention for the full 12 / 13 mins.

  5. It is exciting! What's even moreso is the stage design -- I'm really into the style of it. Very classique. Despite the criticism the "Monster Pit" is also nice & quirky.

She seems to have taken Marry The Night as a cue to disappear from public consciousness which'll do her well. I'm hoping she has another single under her belt ready to unload. I need something to spam nightclubs that makes me happy!

Oh! And the Jo Calderone version of the Haus of Ü fashion project has been released. It's enjoyable & lol.

    I like Madonna but seriously , reduct--what ?

  6. A few minutes over midnight but I'll post nonetheless.

I don't have any photoshop / colours / equipment at all so this is done from a blank sheet of paper & charcoal. It's the first thing I've done in ages so I wanted it to be simple.

  7. Your name is either Mia or M.I.A.

For once I'm not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing! After a quick search I like Mia. (I've heard of her, of course. Just not extensively)

I enjoy that Audrey Horne comparison, @Paj\!. I try my best.

  8. OK, so from this thread I've found out I'm currently in the 5th "dungeon".

I think this is my favourite place so far. The lead up to it has been enjoyable & a little quirky too. The water in the sand..oh and the mine track was fun! I really wish Nintendo would spend more time crafting these type of dungeons where it's actually an inside / human environment rather than nature. It just works. Another example is the dungeon that takes place in the snowy mountains in Twilight Princess. Definitely one of the highlights of that game. As mentioned earlier that shows how story helps (the love between the yeti & the woman...or was she a yeti?)

This ship is also the real first time that I've been amazed by the graphics. Looking out into the ocean is beautiful. It reminds me of infiltrated the female pirate base in Ocarina of Time. Which is wonderful. This game is getting better, although I'm not sure if it's the greatest Zelda.

  9. It's been a long time since I've been at home and it feels nice to be back for 2 days. Sometimes a break from Dublin is lovely.

I'm feeling good now. I've got those heavy eyelids from being at ease and I've got an evening of watching The Simpsons & playing Zelda. I'll no doubt end up drinking a glass or two of wine & dancing to my favourite songs. [my sister is currently playing old Disney songs & it's so beautiful. Pochohontas is on now..)

Oh and 2 nights ago I had a classic dinner party & ate some vegetarian dishes while washing them down with more wine & Jameson. I made friends and we shared Jagermeister. It's exhilarating running through empty halls at 3:00am

  10. No! I need some snow. After seeing the snow in Dublin last year I've been waiting patiently for it to return. One night I will peer out my humble bedroom window and witness the first falling.

When it comes I want to roll around inside it.

  11. I'm very surprised as well; I had you down as heterosexual. I could've sworn you'd mentioned it or something since I normally make sure I have those things right. :heh: In a strange way, I'm almost a bit disappointed :heh: - it would have been lovely to see a straight man with your approach to life for once, just to shake up expectations and stereotypes a bit. :) They're probably out there, but you just don't see them very often.

I know exactly what you mean. I know one or two people and you just can't help but feel like they'd be so much more amazing as straight people because they'd break so many barriers / stereotypes / how people believe gay and straight people should act.

As promised -- I captured him doing Duckface.

    trololololololol

    (stupid merging double post)

  12. I was gonna fix it as soon as we got home :p we were under a time limit.

We're not ghosts, we're dead Hollywood stars.

Also -- hear I am. Spamming this thread. I'm using another motif to unleash my inner old-Hollywood star that's inside of me. Here is the hidden Marilyn, the alcoholic.

Classy wine, with the beautiful Eddie!

White wine, cheap perfume & a filthy pout.

Will update when I get Diego to duckface >:)

  13. The architecture here is really wonderful! I thought Dublin had nice architecture when I first moved here but Paris is just amazing. I love how Paris doesn't disappoint. Despite it becoming more of a fantasy land to be reproduced in movies & books etc. -- there is still some magic here when you see it in person.

The drivers and people are a little '...' . I've never felt more unsafe crossing a road with that green man but otherwise I love it, despite the 48 hr lack of sleep. Nothing is worth it if some blood isn't shed.
