  1. My top 10 (in order, starting with the best):

    1. Metroid Prime

    2. P.N.03

    3. Killer 7

    4. Resident Evil 4

    5. Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader

    6. Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg

    7. Super Monkeyball Adventure (yes, I loved it - shut up!)

    8. Mario Kart: Double Dash!!

    9. Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem

    10. F-Zero GX

Tho to be honest there were way too many to choose from.

Even when I was down to 15, every one I cut from the list felt like pulling the limbs off a puppy

  2. I'm still playing it (been going through pretty slowly in between loads of other stuff) and loving it.

The part that blows my mind are the times when i go back to a previous area and characters talk about events/characters you've met later on. Expected them to still be in the exact same state you left them in after doing their quest etc, but they've asked about other characters, mentioned that they heard you did things in another area, etc.

Makes the game feel so much more believable, like the world's carrying on around you without constant interaction.

  3. There's a demo of this in the shop. Pretty tight. The ahead/behind yells are hilarious!:heh:

If by "hilarious" you mean "infuriatingly annoying", then yes I agree.

    YOU ARE 2 SECONDS BEHIND!!

    YOU ARE 2 SECONDS AHEAD!!

    YOU ARE 5 SECONDS AHEAD!!

    YOU ARE 2 SECONDS AHEAD!!

    YOU ARE 2 SECONDS AHEAD!!

  4. In the case of Crash and Spyro, it's more the case of the developers ditching the franchise and another developer picking up the pieces.

Actually, the new Spyro has now been confirmed to leapfrog "unnecessary" and land in "oh my crap" land.

Seriously, would you take your child to this event and NOT expect them to have nightmares for the next few weeks?

  5. I've never understood this "the sequels ruined it, they should have left it alone" sentiment. So what if the sequels are bad, don't watch/play them then. Having bad sequels doesn't make the original any less good.

I don't think of sequels ruining the originals in movies or games, but you often hear discussions of films where people say "the original was the best, let's pretend the sequel/s never happened" (eg. Robocop).
