I love the main game - lots of fun, not too hard. I've had mixed experiences with the party games - love the snowboarding and darts, but some of the games I really didn't get.

I have mixed feelings I guess. I've not played Animal Crossing so can't comment on its suitability in this particular example. In general though, I don't think that they should be shoehorning Miis into everything as this could compromise the characterisation in the games. Having said that, there is something very appealing about personalisation and this works well in less involved games like Wii Sports. My other half (non games player until now!) loves the fact that your player on screen is a representation of yourself. I love the idea of getting clothes etc. in games that you can use to dress your Mii. Also, I want to create a Mii of my cat so if I could get a pet that would be cool .

I played Wii Sports and Super Monkey Ball yesterday and I ache like hell. Must be doing me some good though .

Hi there. I don't get the bit about payment not going through until 19th December. Are you using Paypal? If so, your payment would only take up to 3 working days to clear, which would take you to next Wednesday. You could still then have your Wii by the 15th. The only reason I can think that your order would take so long to process would be if you were paying by cheque. I'm no E-bay expert but it sounds a little odd to me and I wonder if you have some recourse because you have been misled. Check the details carefully. Was there any indication that you would get the product sooner? It may be worth contact E-bay to see where you stand with regards to possibly cancelling the order. Yay! Got my Wii about 45 mins ago and have been creating a Mii and playing Wii sports. Unfortunately, my Zelda still hasn't been dispatched as it's in the same order as my Wii Play which is obviously delayed. Still, I've got sports and I'm going to go up to my local Woolies in a bit to see if they've got any Monkey Ball or Rayman left. I'm so happy. The Parcelforce site didn't even say it was out for delivery and I was busy hitting refresh every five minutes when my other half yelled upstairs that the van was outside. Hope you guys all get your Wiis today.

Dammit - mine still says 'on route to local hub'. Why is there no more progress? Everyone else's seem to be 'out for delivery'.

My delivery is still saying 'on route to local hub'. It's been that way since 00.17 am . My Zelda and Wii Play haven't been dispatched from Amazon yet but now say 'dispatching soon'.

Surely your biggest worry is if they deliver Zelda, but not your console lol!

I used the Parcelforce website and to get the extra info, clicked on 'tracking details'.

I got the same as you. When I went into detailed tracking it said: 08-12-2006 00:17 Charlton Depot On route to local hub so I think it's left Charlton and as I only live in Crystal Palace I'm hoping it's going to come today too.
