  1. I want to know how they've managed to pay their staff after selling exactly zero units of anything for two years.

    "Trailer

    Coming soon (this vacation maybe)."

    Right-o.

  2. they're so old it's not funny anymore. it could turn out either way IF it exists. The demand is only there cause pit is in smash bros. Most gamers are really not aware of kid icarus I feel.

It was a good game and the gb one was also good. Could turn out well you never know.

If they make a new Kid Icarus they'll likely present it as a new IP, half the current fans of Pit are probably going by Brawl because of his sexy new image, and the old fans are probably either dead or have moved on to the "next gen".

  3. Got me the TV :)

Absolutely BRILLAINT final, they made us do shadow moses island (wtf how the hell was my Ike supposed to kill on that level!?!?!) and i was getting CAINED when i managed to come back and get 3 kills inside a minute; the audience went absolutely mental and i even got some massive 'we love ike but we love anil more' cheers from some guys i met.

I was the only Ike in the draw, most people used Lucas (up smash), Kirby or Link.

    Congrats to Tyson :)

Edit: So after tyson claims he didnt win, i think it's safe to say...I am the best N-europe smash player (woop).

Ohhh, I don't know about that. I had a good day anyway, but I reckon I could have quite easily won. What was the competition like Sprout?

Oh, congratulations by the way mate xD Mind if we swap friend codes when I get this tommorow? I always did wanna try my hand against you.

  4. I went to the Hull tourney and chose Pokémon Trainer. I got to the final, and lost to a brilliant Pit player (who had also imported) in Sudden Death. I feel that even though I lost, I lost in the best possible way (and I didn't really need the TV anyway, the iPod will do me just fine :heh:). I've exchanged friend codes with the champion too, so I look forward to playing him again.

    Oh, and congrats to TysOnToast!

Don't worry, I lied, I was in your tournament xD I went in late so I just ended up hanging about Hull with my mate for a while.

If you heard the announcer and "where the F is Tyson" that was me.

  5. Kudos to whoever made the video review for Brawl. It soothed me like warm milk.

I still don't have the game yet, I went out for tennis and didn't go to town in time, which means I won't have any practice before the competition tommorow. Any advice for things I can do to get ready without the game?

  6. This is a completely off-conversation question but - if you have ONE copy of Brawl but TWO Wii's would the friend code be the same on each console because the disc is the same? Or would it still be different on each console?

Well, if you have two copies of the game and one Wii, you'd have one friend code, it's done by the console, not the game.

  7. I feel a bit cheated. I leveled a Druid to 30 just for travel form and swim form to the AH and bank, it's just not as cool now. Level 40 for a mount just feels right in my opinion.

Of course, I'd care more if I didn't vow never to play WoW again.

  8. Well, it looks like a better fit for the Wii then Rock Band or Guitar Hero to say the least. When I bought the Wii I wasn't expecting 20 different peripherals that limited the use of the motion controls. I can't even remember the last game I bought that made a real effort with the controller, even from Nintendo.

So, as far as I'm concerned, more games like this, less games I could play on the PS2.

  9. Awesome!

How the hell do people stumble across these kinds of bugs? It's mad.

I've always wondered why all the world records are set by people playing as Funky Kong too, is he somehow fasty than all the other large characters?

  10. I freaking loved the game on the whole to be honest, but I wouldn't play it again. It's like McDonalds Kids on the Amiga, if I play it again I'll nitpick the excitement out of it despite loving what I seem to remember it being. As usual though, the hyping stages were probably more exciting than actually owning the game.

My biggest dissapointment was not having the dog saving adventure that was in some of the early trailers. That looked immense.
