Finally got to play this after being away at the weekend. Made my first level (probably similar to a load of other first levels) which is just a simple 1-1 world. I'll get to uploading and searching all you guys' levels later.

I might be able to play some tonight. I'll check back for what times you guys will be playing.

Only had 1,400 stars left and just decided to get a few 3DS home screens.

Opening room now for the 5 of us. Only 5 of us turned up, no Bullet_Will, but it was still fun. And that gives me my first Triple Gold in the league this year. Anyone else in this club?

anyone else watch NXT Takeover: Brooklyn? Easily the best PPV/big show of the year. Every match had a great feel to it, even the Samoa Joe vs Baron Corbin match which I weren't too into, was a great brawl. Woman's title match between Bailey and Sasha was easily match of the year so far. And the ladder match between Finn and KO was a great match with some great moments. Best news of all is that NXT is coming to the UK in December.

Great first GP for me then my sister decided to come and bug me by holding the hop button and totally messed me up for the start of GP 2. Couldn't get back into it after that.

I'm game. 200cc Frantic mode. Fun for all.

I'll try to get on for some splatting after Mario Kart League night.

Since it looks like low numbers again, are we going with Frantic mode again?

Thursdays are the only day during the week I can take part, otherwise Sunday only. I do like Thursday though. CPU's could make a difference, but then it could take away a bit from it being an N-E league.

@The_Mole. I have no issues being host. I would like to say in advance though that I will be unable to host on September 3rd and 10th as I will be away with family on holiday. Despite a poor showing in GP2, I had a good week, up two places to 6th. I'm happy with that.

Yep, that was me. As a Aerospray user I find the Splatling Gun a good alternative. It can take a bit to get used to how long to charge it in closer combat, but with a fully charged up round, you can take out inklings from quite a range.

I thoroughly enjoyed playing with you guys tonight. We had some close Tower Defence games which was great and it was just fun to be able to chat whilst playing. I'll certainly be up for more in the coming weeks.

Definitely. I'm so turning that into a Gify. Great fun too, hope no one minded the frantic mode switch. Had a great first GP, bad second and so so third. Great fun again.

I'm actually loving the Heavy Splatling. It takes a little to know how the best way to handle it but it's got power and range that I like. In close battles even a 1 second charge can be enough to take out an inkling. And get on the high ground and you can charge it right up and have a field day taking out the opposing Inklings. The victory dance (the second part of it) is just adorable.

No worries I host. Just wanted to know if I should be looking for a room or opening one.

I want one! I'll have to settle for the t-shirt bundle I have and hope I can get that elsewhere.

I should be able to get on from 7 for around an hour, then after MK league night. I'll be playing late as anyone else is.
