Haha, i find this really funny. The video around halfway down just proves how hard people are swinging it. They sort of deserve it (sort of because no-one deserves to have a good tv smashed), but it still makes bloody funny reading/watching.

I don't get what you mean. Games cost £40. Free game=£40 saved. I never mentioned Wii Play.

I hope this is true. It would give me an extra £40. But GAME are only concerned with taking money, so it's not very likely that they'll be giving us free games.

I still remember walking into GAME on the day of the Gamecubes' launch, and watching my mum buy it for me. Best feeling ever. Now, things have changed, i have my own job, and i'll be buying the Wii. Makes it that little bit better knowing i worked for it. Hopefully, GAME will open at midnight and then it really will be the best feeling.

This can't be true, how many people own HDTVs? If it is true they won't sell 20 copies.

Well, i was 18 last year so my mum said no 'big' Christmas presents. Exept it was a really crap Christmas, no excitement at all. So this year, i'm getting a present. I think i'm getting a moblie phone, it's the only thing i don't really have ( i've had one, but i always somehow break them).

looks like all the bad press got to the developer, according to IGN, it won't be sold in the UK. This is the start of something bad.

Finally, i own Guitar hero 2! The looks i got carrying that massive box home... But, anyway, it's clearly a step up in terms of difficulty, i struggled on the first song i played (i suspect that's only becuae it was a new song). I'm playing on expert and have just done 'Who Was In My Room Last Night?', which is the best Guitar Hero song ever! But those 3 button chords throw me every time.

I have Gears Of War, World Of Warcraft and Guitar hero 2 to make time go fast. Before you know it, it will be Dec 8th.

Some people are just arseholes. They think that because it wasn't their dog, it doesn't matter. I just don't understand what makes them not stop to move it, or call someone to move it.

I personally found the Demo of Sonic to be quite good fun, but it did have some annoyances which judging by the reveiws have not been removed. I never liked Sonic games anyway, but his 3D ones have been below average. I played Lost Planet for about 5 minutes before wishing i wasn't playing another shooting game. I'll download the multiplayer demo to see if it's any good.

Cool, well that's my last concern about the Wii put to rest. roll on Dec 8th. Oh, apparently my mate saw a wii in the Machester Virgin Meagstore, but it wasn't playable. Also, there's a very odd looking space in my local Gamestation store. Here's hoping demo pods will be in soon!

This maybe becuse the HDTV in GAME was badly set up, but i was into Project Gotham Racing 3 at the time and i had been playing it on my SDTV. I saw that the demo pod was HDTV, so i went over to see what all the fuss was about. All i saw was a jaggier version of PGR3, nothing else. Is this an issue with all HDTVs or just the pnes Microsoft puts on their demo pods?

I have a question! A question that may have been asked before, but it's a very, very big thread. With the Wii always ready to accept discs, does this mean that the slot has no protetion to dust, or anything else that could find its way into the slot?

Not me. I miss my old games really bad. There's not really many good games i've not played that i'm aware of.

Great idea, i read a reveiw of that in N64 magazine, but never played it. I guess i never thought of the VC as a way to play games i never could.

Give me some lost N64 classics like jet force gemini (damn Microsoft) and Lylat Wars, and i'll be happy.
