As a massive Mario fan, it's sad for me to say I'm not happy with the direction they went with this game. I really don't like the hat gimmick. For me, taking control of objects and enemies just doesn't feel like it belongs in a Mario game. I want to control Mario in a Mario game, not possessed objects and enemies. I worry how they will control compared to Mario, some from the videos I've watched look a bit off. The original trailer got me hyped and I probably would have bought a Switch just for this but now... nah, the wait will go on. Graphically it looks great, except the city which looks like they grabbed it from Sonic Adventure where like Sonic, Mario looks out of place in.

God this sounds incredible. Screw my usual 4 day weekend for Monster Hunter, I'm taking a whole week off for this. @Hero\-of\-Time, you know you want to do the same.

I enjoyed the conference. They showed more of the games I'm interested in seeing more of with a couple of surprises/reveals in MH:World & Shadow of the Colossus, that's all I really wanted. Crazy how many of the games shown I'll definitely be buying. Days Gone, Destiny 2, Detroit, God of War, Horizon: The Frozen Winds, Monster Hunter: World, Shadow of the Colossus (once I've played The Last Guardian), Spider-Man & Uncharted: The Lost Legacy That is one impressive list of games. Include Battlefront 2, Metro Exodus, The Evil Within 2, Wolfenstein 2, Fifa 18, South Park and all the games I've yet to buy, I'm set for the next 18 months. No reason for me to invest in another games console any time soon. Thanks Sony!

I think it looks great, the series needs freshening up. Apart from mounting introduced in 4, nothing has changed since I first played Tri back in 2009. I'm so glad I get to play this series on my PS4 Pro with my 55" 4K TV with party chat! Woo hoo!!! Pretty much kills off any chance of me buying a Switch now as I aint buying it for one game (Super Mario Odyssey).

Finished the last game (Bioshock Infinite) of Bioshock: The Collection last night and it was easily the best of the 3. Didn't enjoy Bioshock at all, ended up playing it on and off for about a month as it was just a chore to play, didn't like the story and any reveals in the story didn't interest me one bit, I just wanted it to end. Bioshock 2 was completely different, I enjoyed the story and characters and was a bit gutted that I had to finish it. It was a nice surprise how much I enjoyed it after playing through the first game. Bioshock Infinite was incredible, I'm glad they moved away from the dark rooms and corridors and went for a bright busy world. The game looks stunning and I loved exploring it's world. I liked the characters and the twists were well done even if the last one started to become clear about an hour from the end. I may have to play Bioshock again, maybe it took finishing it to get used to how it played, probably explains why I enjoyed its sequels so much. @Blade if you still have this, skip Bioshock 1 & 2, jump straight to Bioshock Infinite, you won't be disappointed. I remember you saying you weren't enjoying Bioshock.

I dont think it'll bomb, nostalgia will play a big part in this selling at least a hundred thousand. Will quite a few Switch owners buy it just to have something new to play? That is a serious question by the way, I don't pay much attention to the Switch and it's current library of games.

You not interested at all in the Scorpio reveal and seeing whats it's capable of? I love console reveals. Regarding E3, hyped for what Sony & Microsoft bring to the show, not fussed about Nintendo.

Finished Horizon: Zero Dawn yesterday What a game, the combat system, the graphics, the story, all great. This game on the PS4 Pro... oh my. I didn't know what to expect with the story before I started playing but it blew me away. I ended up doing all the side quests as I was enjoying it so much. Didn't get the platinum but once I've cleared some of my backlog I'll go back and have a go at it. I liked Aloy and her interactions with all the side characters. I also liked how all the characters you meet during the side quests actually have a part to play in the main story. The open world is probably the best I've played in and explored. None of the collectables felt like a chore to collect as they revealed more of the world you are playing in. For me, this is better than Zelda: Breath of the Wild in every way. It was just a joy to play without any frustrations.

If you have a 4K TV and money free to buy a PS4 Pro, you won't be disappointed. It is, I couldn't go back to the original PS4 now. Everything is just so clear and vibrant. I think the trade in on PS4s at Game is £120. My controller is damaged behind the R2 trigger so I'd have to trade in my new controller that came with it so I'd only get £80 for it as the damaged controller aint going to last forever so I'm keeping it as my upstairs PS4

Bought a PS4 Pro which arrived last Monday.. It's so good. Currently playing Ghost Recon: Wildlands and it looks incredible. If you have a 4K TV with 10 bit HDR it's like the jump from SD to HD all over again. @Fierce_LiNk as you have the same TV as mine, you need a PS4 Pro. Looking forward to trying out Uncharted 4 & Ratchet & Clank.

Finished it yesterday, really enjoyed the adventure and if I didn't have other games to play, I would have completed more shrines and found more seeds. In the end I defeated all 4 divine beasts, unlocked all the memories, completed 51 shrines and defeated Calamity Ganon, all in 45 hours. Positives: - It looks amazing, I wasn't sure what it would look like on my new 55" 4K TV but I was blown away. Nintendo are the masters of pushing their consoles to their limits. - Loved the art style that they went with, as again, it covers up the limitations of the Wii U & Switch perfectly while still looking great. - The open world, wow... just huge. I don't know how Nintendo will top this world for the next Zelda game. - Just so much to do with it all being down to you how you progress through the game. Negatives - The music, none of it was memorable or epic, I'm come away from playing previous Zelda games humming the tunes for months afterwards. - Weapon system, the weapons breaking constantly. They really should have used a similar system to Monster Hunter, where your weapon goes blunt and you can resharpen. - The motion control shrines, urgggh.. just why?! I'm glad this was the game to end my near 3 years spell without buying a Wii U game, it met all expectations and was a joy to play. Now, back to the PS4.

I disagree, I rely on a strong central midfield 3 for the way I like to play and I just didn't have that with Liverpool. You were just pushing them off the ball all the time, I underestimated you and how strong Spurs are.

Depends who he has, you were bullying my Liverpool players off the ball last night, ruined my passing game completely. Good games though, no idea what I was thinking with that penalty. I blame being unwell and being incredibly tired.

and.... its pre-ordered - £43 from Amazon as I got £5 added to my account for my TV being delivered late last week. I'm excited now. Also, it's my first Wii U game purchase in 2 years and 9 months as well. I better go test my Wii U.
