New thread is imminent, maybe a day or two want to make it epic. New season will start a week on Tuesday. Good luck to people still in the cup! I have switched between that rule a couple of times now between seasons but you are right I should have stated before the cup but that is the way it is. I find your moaning and insults quite tiresome, I don't think you understand how much effort I put into this league, the fact that you seem borderline obsessed at trying to hassle me all of a sudden is incredible this is just an online manager game. To be honest xpert at times is something I don't need I work very hard and this is pretty much the only game I play atm, I send out various PMs every season trying to recruit, I have been in contact with our two new players to make sure they are settled in properly, I give VIP memberships as prizes which comes from my pocket which I am sure you have benefited from, I try and make interesting threads and games etc, this league has grown to 3 leagues with 30 players and a great active community. I have no need to justify myself to someone who sees themselves in the light of some messianic hero: From your own team page: We were recruited to the league by long time friend Haden in order to ensure the leagues survival...some in the league see Intergalactico Stars as their savours as a result. The fact that I know you in real life makes this even more screwed up! I have busted my ass off to make this a fun game for everyone, as has Peeps with his reports, Recall with his videos, Bru and Ell with their undying love and banter, Dragoooo and Mad with their chatroom insults and you with your energetic PRs and recruitment. As well as every manager and team that makes this such a great league. This league has never had a problem like this before working together we are stronger.

There's an old joke. Uh, two elderly Xpert players are watching the change report and one of 'em says: "Boy, the players in my team are really terrible." The other one says, "Yeah, I know, and I have such a small squad." Well, that's essentially how I feel about Xpert. Full of loneliness and misery and suffering and unhappiness, and the season is all over much too quickly. The-the other important joke for me is one that's, uh, usually attributed to Oddy, but I think it appears originally in Season 1's tactics and its relation to the unconscious. And it goes like this-I'm paraphrasing: Uh ... "I would never wanna belong to any team that would have someone like me for a manager." That's the key joke of my Xpert life in terms of my relationships with teams. Tsch, you know, lately the strangest things have been going through my mind, 'cause I have managed for 5 years tsch, and I guess I'm going through a life crisis or something, I don't know. I, uh ... and I'm not worried about aging. I'm not one o' those characters, you know. Although playing 4-3-3 slightly to much, that's about the worst you can say about me. I, uh, I think I'm gonna get better as I get older, you know? I think I'm gonna be the- the Italian manger type, you know, as opposed to say the, uh, Dalgleish type manager , you know? 'Less I'm neither o' those two. Unless I'm one o' those guys with saliva dribbling out of his mouth who PRs his life thoughts like Charlie with a shopping bag screaming about socialism. (Sighing) Haden United and I parted ways and I-I still can't get my mind around that. You know, I-I keep sifting the pieces of the relationship through my mind and-and examining my career and tryin' to figure out where did the screw-up come, you know, and a year ago we were... winning a league. You know, and-and-and ... And it's funny, I'm not-I'm not a morose type. I'm not a depressive character. I-I-I, uh, (Laughing) you know, I was a reasonably happy manager I guess. You might be waiting a while for Charlie to get knocked out

Before the draw today does anyone have any dream or nightmare opponents? I would quite like to be home to Real Peeps not that I think it would be easy but it would be a nice or maybe nasty preview of next season! My nightmare opponent would be Inter who has eliminated me both times in the cup please do not draw me against him!
