  1. As it is the Uni, then they can block what they like and no-one can really do anything about it.

But as it is his own connection, well i;m sure that he could win overall, just look on Proxy sites. Should be able to overcome the ISP blocking anytime

  2. Today has been brilliant for me

Started off with going into town to see the new Rambo movie (see my rating in the film topic), couldn't even get on the train due to the Rugby of which Wales won. Film was brilliant and more thrilling than i thought.

Then decided to go into town and go shopping, bought a few things will post up tomorrow and then go into Rileys to play some pool during the Wales game, it was empty on the tables.

Came home, had a shower and headed straight out the door again to the pub where Pool came into force and Snooker. Brilliant night, got a few photos of the evening as well.

Then my mate got into a fight he claimed he never started but after all, he does over-exaggerate a lot of the time about the cause of things.

And now, just got into my house after 20 minutes trying to get in due to parents locking all the doors and turning the keys in a way you cannot push them out with another key, ended up waking them up just to let me in, they weren't too happy with getting woken up but laughed when it was me on the end of the phone when i couldn't get in.

  3. Rambo

3 words can describe this movie. Bloody, Brutal, Violent. It was a bloody amazing movie, best i have seen of 2008 so far. Great acting and it showed what it is really like out in places like Burma. Oh, and if anyone is wondering the majority of what has been shown in trailers has made it into the final cut, including this scene

What else to say really, nothing else i can say because it could spoil the movie for everyone who ain't seen it yet. I'll give this 9.5/10 because it is that good, and he did make good use of a discovery.

  4. I am really trying to stop myself from buying the first 3 right now. The advert for the 4th looks inceredible and I want to see the first 3. £10 for 3 movies..it's torture.

I bought all three last year in HMV for £5, which was nice.

2 more movies i watched yesterday

    Rambo: First Blood Part II

The sequel to the first movie (duh). This time, it sees Rambo heading into the jungle on a photographic mission which turns bloody and violent thanks to betrayal. Similar format to the first movie, just more exciting and bloody later on. 9/10

    Rambo III

The third movie in the series (can't say trilogy anymore). We see Rambo working in a monestry and as a fighter instead of battling bad guys. Later on, it gets bloody as we expect it to happen in this type of movie. Not as good as the first 2 movies, but it is still well worth a watch. 8/10

Tomorrow, my review of the new Rambo

  5. I've not given blood yet, but when an opportunity arises for me to do so then i shall give some blood.

And i also think it is daft that gay's are not allowed to give blood, i see nothing wrong with gay's giving blood.

  6. The Brittas Empire Series 5

The 5th series in the sitcom about a Leisure Centre under the command of Gordon Brittas (Chris Barrie). This series sees Brittas preparing to take up a new job in Brussels as European Commissioner for Sport, and all goes well until right at the end where he meets his end and maker, until his maker finds him annoying and sends him back to Earth just in time. 9/10 for this series, 6th series by weekend

  7. My day has been ok, now but earlier it wound me up so much. My boss decided to intimidate, offend and blame me for things someone else and herself had done wrong, which miffed me off.

Now at home, decided to drink a few bevvies and munch on some nachos whilst watching Rambo: First Blood

  8. Did you see Sly on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross? The man is a legend.

Yeah, the interview with Sly was a great one, half of it was laugh out loud moments.

I am really looking forward to the movie now, shall be seeing it on Saturday sometime once i have found out what time the showings are.

  9. Carrying on from where i left off.

    The Brittas Empire Series 2

The second series of the underrated sitcom starring Chris Barrie. The start of the series sees Brittas apparantly dead after a conference, but later revealed that he his not. Another great episode comes with the area inspector visiting and it turns out he acts the same way Brittas does. 8/10 for this series

    The Brittas Empire Series 3

The third series in this sit-com, this time it starts with Brittas in court for apparantly murdering, drug handling and handling stolen cash. Later on in the series Brittas's brother comes into play of which they share the same dream as each other and are both as annoying as each other. 8.5/10 once again.

    The Brittas Empire Series 4

4th series, this time Romans attack the Leasure Centre, Brittas gets sacked from the Centre amongst other things. One of the best episodes from this series is the last one which sees Brittas re-visit the centre and cause a gas leak which ignites with the present which he bought the staff, and also saves stranded staff and public who escape via the basement. 9/10

Shall review series 5 later on today, once i have finished watching it.

  10. I don't fit into all bus seats, and most of the time i sit in one, i always get an older person sit in the space where my legs tend to go and they never say excuse me or please may i sit there or anything.

I don't cross my legs at the top, but i do at the bottom for some reason.

  11. Well, i wouldn't mind being alive in 100 years time, but the chances are that i won't be alive by then, but hopefully any kids that i have should be or even the grandkids should be.

But, what will the world be like in 100 years. 100 years ago, there was none of this modern technology and no-one gave two hoots about the environment nor was there much safety. Now, we have all of the above and more.

  12. Light drinks were started at 9 years, which were shandy's and cider. Next up was beer at 12, only had 1/2 pints then. Full pints began at 16/17. Now 21 and drink spirits as well as lagers.
