  1. I've watched all of this!

I had no idea it was shown in the UK and was surprised to find it was on Sky One went returning home for Christmas.

    Anyway, it's alright.

    It's pretty shit at times.

Bad acting, predictable plot, shite CGI and just quite flat.

I don't know why I kept watching it, there is something about that I do find pretty interesting.

    Maybe just the idea/universe.

  2. Lots of developers find out they're out of the job when company/parent company/income has dried up when they just walk into the office one day.

With a big publisher like THQ we would have heard a lot of rumblings from their many developers though...

I thought for a second this linked nicely with STALKER 2 (you'd think they would've been getting funding from the people who published STALKER 1).

But then checking up on it their latest STALKER add-ons/exampansions/smaller games weren't published by THQ - so that relationship probably doesn't exist.

  3. Done 'the impossible' by preparing for Oz at my own pace and getting shit done' date=' despite lots of people shaking heads and tutting and generally not believing in me.

I am finding that I am increasingly bothered by the amount, or lack, of faith that people have in me. It's merely reinforcing the whole "have low expectations and you'll exceed often" element of my psyche.

Oh. Yeah. 'Good Stuff Thread.' Well, I suppose it's good that I've done packing, cleaning, delivering, preparing. Done with goodbyes. Going to be on a plane somewhere when it gets to this time tomorrow. Long flight(s) ahead, with puzzle books and kindle and notebooks and little else. Big change a-happening.[/quote']

Doing shit and acting like it ain't no thang when people doubt you is great though.

    Makes you feel awesome.

    Loving the upside-down stuff too.

  4. I'm almost certain you can just swap your EU driving license for a British one if you want when you become a resident.

Also an EU driving license is valid in the UK.

You just have to abide by age laws.

    ANYWAY WELL DONE!

Now you can run Flink over.
