  1. Red Steel -1ST Rev game screenshots in gameinformer

Does anybody remember those three letters Iwata was talking about at E3 last year? WOW! This is the best day I've had in a long time I pass my driving test, I hear about this great news, I then watch a heavy film (crash, I suggest you see it), and then I come back online to not only be glad to see the first ever Revolution screenshots, but they also look sick as fuck!!! My supply of E3 underwear has been used already.
  2. Red Steel -1ST Rev game screenshots in gameinformer

God dammit, me and my parents rented a film, and now i have 2 go n watch it Damn you Guarana for doing this to me!
  3. Red Steel -1ST Rev game screenshots in gameinformer

Finally, at least we have the cover. NOW SOMEONE GIVE US SCANS!!!!!!!!!! I wish I hadn't logged on now. By the way, the Rev controller is a reflection in a sword!
  4. Red Steel -1ST Rev game screenshots in gameinformer

This is the most annoying post ever. I've never heard news like this, and not had access to screens or information. I hate IGN insider too. Why the hell has no-one on these boards got it? I may cancel my whole evening's plans just 2 c if this is true. Graphics may not be the main part of Revolution. but i still wanna see some games. Why the hell isn't this on the net? WHY WHY WHY??? Someone find something quick!
  5. november euro launch!?!?!?!?

YAY, my brithday's in November, I'm gonna ask for one of these. Hopefully I don't have to find another present.
  6. Tony Hawk: Downhill Jam

This is going to be an interesting one. will you have to move the controller like the skateboard? i reckon it'll us the nun-chuck attachment, and you'll use the A, B, Z1, and Z2 for different types of tricks, combined with controller movements.
  7. Anyone thinking of importing?

I've never been too into importing myself, but if they made the console region free, like the PS3 is, then I would consider it more.
  8. SD Cards? Or USB hdd?

I would love if I could connect my external hdd to the console. I could download bare.
  9. E3 2006 Hype/Discussion

I looking forward to anything and everything. I'm trying not to speculate too much, but I'd love if Revolution was the main talking point of the show. Can't wait to see both Nintendo and Sony's pressconferences. Hopefully this year, Sony's will be shorter and Nintendo's more full.
  10. Podcast: First Edition!

Is it just me, or does April fools only apply until mid-day? The joke's on you Revo-Europe!
  11. IGN: Revolution Horsepower

I hate specs. They're so misleading. It's not the power that counts, it's how you use it.
  12. Gadget show rev showing

My dad saw this. He was telling me about it in the car. He sounded pretty impressed though, and as he's a non-gamer, that's a good sign. Did the Gadget show really say that the DS was too Gimmicky? I think they obviously learned from their bad judgement and had some proper comments for the Revolution.
  13. Starcraft Ghost delayed to next gen

Is anyone still excited about this game? I mean, surely in the time it's been developed, other games have already done what it set out to do. If they're making the transition to next gen, then they better improve it a fair amount, otherwise it'll just be a waste of time.
  14. Nintendo Revo= Nintendo GO?

That's the most realistic yet. I can't confirm nor deny that as truth. Let's just wait and see. If we're lucky, Iwata will show tell us the name today. The thing that makes it slightly convincing for me, is the quality of the image, plus, the japanese writing. The main question for me is, do I like the name Nintendo GO? [Edit] The font which the word "GO" is written in is downloadable from the net, so it's most likely fake.
  15. Pandemic on Rev... maybe...

I can't believe there are so many people out there who didn't like Full Spectrum Warrior. Nintendork, if you only played it for an hour, then all you got to play was the tutorial, which in all fairness was annoying. But once that was over, I couldn't stop playing until I'd completed it. Along with Battlefront, this is one of their best games. If you want to pick out a game that was dissappointing, try Destroy all Humans, or Mercenaries. Though, they weren't bad games either, just not as good as FSW. Anyway, I'm glad that there's a possibility of them working on Rev, because I like their games.
  16. Rare - Viva Pinata?!

Why don't Rare give gamers something they want, like a sequel to Killer Instinct? I mean, I appreciate that they wanna try new stuff, but I think they need to revive some old franchises for the new generation, and Killer Instinct would be perfect. They haven't really impressed me since they made N64 games. I think they've lost their touch when they lost important members of staff. I think it's easy to see why Nintendo weren't too bothered to sell them off.I never thought I'd see Rare do a game that was a tie-in with a kids TV show.
  17. Not really the most exciting news ever, but at least it's nice to see an analyst who doesn't dismiss the Rev. and treat it like it's only a Gamecube 2. http://www.cubed3.com/news/4714 I think he has a very valid point. I know for a fact that more and more people are getting second consoles. Well, everyone on this board should know that. I bought Gamecube as my first console, then Xbox as my second. When it comes out, Playstation 3 will most likely sell like hot cakes, and Xbox 360 will have been out almost a year. So both of those consoles will have plenty of owners. A year down the line or so, they may want another console. Are they going to go for the expensive system that pretty much does the same as the one they've got, or go for the cheaper system which does something different? At the end of the day, it's just a prediction, so don't take it too seriously. But I think he's got one of the more realistic views of the market for sure.
  18. Hey everyone. My friend recently got and Xbox 360 and bought Dead or Alive 4. Firstly, the original copy we got was scratched, so the Xbox 360 wouldn't read it. Second, when we replaced it, the Xbox 360 could read it, but now when the message "press start" comes up, it won't respond to any buttons. What the hell is going on? Is my friend's Xbox 360 broken? Anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions on what to do would be ace.
  19. Dead or Alive 4 Not Working on Xbox 360! :(

We got it sorted now. YAY, it's a quality game! Cheers for all the help people. If you're a Mod, you can lock this thread now.
  20. Dead or Alive 4 Not Working on Xbox 360! :(

I thought that might be it, but my TV supports 60 hz and the start up screen looks fine on it, so I'm baffled. Though usually when I'm playing on my Gamecube, it asks if I want it in 60hz mode at the beginning and then sets it. So perhaps i need to set it somehow.
  21. Dead or Alive 4 Not Working on Xbox 360! :(

He is a she, and I have no idea where the console came from, but the game came from HMV.
  22. Dead or Alive 4 Not Working on Xbox 360! :(

That's the problem, we've got Kameo running on it perfectly, so I'm baffled.
  23. Revolution and the Wavebird.

Reggie said last week that when you play a Gamecube game on the Rev, you will only be able to play it with gamecube peripherals, and all of them are compatible. Wavebird, microphone, bongos, etc.
  24. New major franchise to be releaved at e3

Apart from the new IP, the best bit to read for me was this That's what I like to hear. If they've sent out over 1000 dev kits, then there must be loads of games in development. I don't of course know how many kits they send per developer. i suppose it depends on how big a developer they are. As regards to the new IP, Well I'm thinking it's going to be an existing genre, and it's something that is gong to make hardcore gamers, (especially Nintendoids) go wild. What it is, I wouldn't guess, but I would like an MMORPG or an FPS.
  25. What applications do you want?

A paint program would be awesome. Creating digital paintings with the revmote would be so easy. You could hold it like a paintbrush and literally paint onto a digital canvas. better yet, why not mkae a 3D image by simply moving the controller around. or, how about the ability to move the controller around an object and make it in 3D on the screen. due to the freehand controller's spacial awareness, it could be possible to get an attachment that acts like a digital pen. press the pointer on different parts of the object and watch it appear in 3D space on your TV. I reckon this could be achieved. It would be excellent for putting your face in a game, or putting in your favorite object. The only problem I can think of is colouring it. Well it's just an idea. There's so much cool stuff Nintendo could do. The google earth idea is good, but what's the point if you already have google earth on your PC? it should have some kind of feature that makes it different enough to have. Nintendo could really expand the market here. Games could be seen as more than just messing around, and finally as an art form.
