Oh my daze! Someone other than me suggested a theme! Excuse me while I go check if the pigs are flying.
EU Referendum day and we go with a Wombles theme?
Can't think of anything better! I'm so IN!

Change starts somewhere.Change is not necessarily a good thing though.
Isn't change exactly why Star Fox Zero is so divisive?
And I can't believe for one second that GO! is a step in the right direction.
(Yes, it's a spin-off, but bear with me)
It looks positively dreadful. Everything about it makes me want to just throw up.
The microtransactions, the dumbing down of the battle system, the Genwunner pandering that makes X/Y look subtle and the gameplay that manages to make Pokemon Dream Radar look deep in comparison.
It'll do well, because it's free to play, on mobiles and it's Pokemon. And that's actually depressing.

I still reckon that the trainers are on the field due to thisThe thought of that still makes me cringe every time it's mentioned..
To be fair, it's mostly because that particular example makes Greninja way lamer.
Then again, Ash would no doubt have the same effect on any Pokemon.
Regardless, having trainers on the field has caused them to properly adjust the scale (somewhat. Zygarde Complete Forme seems smaller than it should be. It's meant to be 4.5m, but for all we know it could be including the tail in that as it sometimes does)I do hope this gets addressed though. It's always disappointing seeing my miniature Groudon, especially after Colloseum/XD/Battle Revolution.
You can see a trainer here if you look hard enough.
Latios is small, but the Groudon out there is far... no wait, it's also small.

I recommend Oracle of Ages, great game. Collecting the rings is also much fun. He's right, if only because Oracle of Seasons has the more useful items for the Linked games content.

Not if their plan is to have a consistent schedule of games, like what they've been saying. If they have plenty of other games ready to go for launch, then it's actually better to save Zelda for later than to blow their load right out of the gate.
After all, BOTW isn't an NX exclusive game, so it isn't even a game that exists to sell the NX concept. Presumably, their other games from Retro and EAD Tokyo are there for that and thus are much more important to the NX's success than BOTW...
But, Deeeeeeaannnn! Zelda is the only thing that maaaaatttteeerrrrsss!
It's a totally valid point though. Zelda is not going to single-handedly carry the NX. What if Zelda was the only game to launch with the NX? It'd be disastrous!

"Irrelevant Nintendo"That's not helpful. You're just asking for trouble with posts like that.
but even what we do know - waking up after so long, funding out what's happened etc. Clearly more 'dense' than normal.I'm already buying the game! I don't think it needs any more funding from me than that!
I'll never tire of your hilarious typos!

People have been pushing this "This is Gen 6.5" bullshit again due to how the battles look, but there's only a finite amount you can do on the same hardware.Seriously?
-
Trick question, they're both Gen 4.
Gen 5 Charizard moooooves!
It's the one on the left though.

I love the evasion move. I tend to hold them back for when a beast does a roar. Narga will obliviously stun you but using the evade move I can just fly through the roar and get a few cheeky hits in.Yeah, I noticed you using that in our Nargacuga hunt, mainly because I was doing the same thing, very satisfying when you pull it off. I can just imagine how much use it'll be once you master when to dodge with monster attacks.
It's especially useful with Sword & Shield (And I imagine it's a god-send with Dual Blades) though, due to how quickly you can dodge after performing a slash, there have been quite a few moments when I've been hacking away at a monster, it tries to attack and I just Insta-evade right out of there. It kinda reminds me of playing Bayonetta, strangely enough.
But then, with Aerial style, the Sword & Shield can pull off two aerial attacks instead of the one every other weapon does. Anyone who played with me on 4U could tell you that I'm pretty good at mounting monsters, and this makes it even easier to pull off.
I suppose I could just switch between the two depending on the monster, Aerial would be more useful with monsters like Duramboros or Gravios.
The only issue with these styles is that I'm stuck with the rubbish Shield Bash attack instead of the Lateral Slash I prefer. And I can only use one Hunter Art. That second point is not much of an issue in the demo, but I can imagine there being some pretty amazing Hunter Arts in the full game.
It's a really hard choice...

It's gonna be loads of fun just finding out what small little things they thought of.
That said, am I the only one who's going to miss the Treasure Chest buildup cutscene that we all know of? (Granted, I am assuming it's not there)
You know? The cutscene that Hyrule Warriors went completely to town on?
My favourite is Ganondorf's.

Damn those people so concerned about spoilersWell, excuuuuuuuse me, Administrator!

Not a great night for me, hit some high places but then just got bombarded.@Dcubed, please check out Yoshi Valley. Across the final bridge on lap three. I was following someone who fired a fire flower back at me, I fired my triple shells forward and somehow one the battle. Would love that to be in the vid.
Actually, we both saw that. It was a spectacle to watch!
Yeah, we both saw it, because I may have forgotten to bring the Mario Kart 8 disc with me and ended up having to split screen with DCubed. Which is why I was totally silent in between races.
Which reminds me...
I'M USING MOTION CONTROLS!
That's better.

Very good night for me.
But now I'm off to play some Monster Hunter!
-
LNah that's letting NOE getting away with it. Being 4 months late but saying but we are giving you a physical copy isn't good enough.
Love to know the reasoning behind this.
It's the same reason America had to wait 4 months for Yoshi's Woolly World.

Wow, the intro movie on this is stunning!Taken on the first monster a few times now, first as the prowler, which didn't go well at all. Yeah, I'm guessing the fact that you have unlimited stamina, and can immediately revive when playing as a cat had to be balanced by making their attacks weaker.
The Prowler definitely works better when it's backing up some hunters. On it's own, it's a bit rubbish.
I'll be up for some hunts after MK tonight, if you don't mind hunting alongside a useless cat.Cool! I'm sure @Dcubed will be there as well.
Right then! The Hub ID is 33 - 1700 - 3244 - 9260

@RedShell, you in?
-
Right, what time will peeps be hunting? I'm keen to play the demo more.
-
That was fantastic teamwork! Confusion is one annoying status effect though!
Will be playing this tomorrow after Mario Kart, and maybe before as well. Hopefully more people will have it downloaded by then.
I've missed N-Europe hunts. The full game can't come soon enough. (Just so I can tell who has joined)

Yeah, this is really a sad state of affairs. At a certain point during development, it became apparent that this was going to be a big misstep.
I feel sorry for the backers really, they deserved better than this.
