    Ok so since transferring all my stuff to the new Xbox all of my arcade games have reverted to 'Trial Version' when I disconnect from Xbox live... this means I need to transfer content licences don't I? :/ *sigh*

     

    If you don't have your old serial number it'll be on Xbox.com somewhere in your account area.

    Of that's right, the same can be said of any gifts my Uncle has brought over in the last 20 years. He has never been charged a penny.

     

    At the end of the day, even if they are searching through every single bag at customs it is very difficult to prove. Nobody is avoiding it, if they want import tax I'll pay it.

    When I questioned about the warraty to Apple Manchester and Newcastle I explained that I would be getting an iPad from the US and would be bringing it back to the UK. Neither of them said anything about 3G not working in the UK. Caris tells me that according to MacRumours forums it works fine.

    Chuck, out of curiosity how are you avoiding import tax and duty? I'm guessing you know someone who's going stateside? After using one for a while today I'm considering putting an order in myself and that price would seal the deal for me.

     

    My Uncle is coming over from the US. Had I given it more time I could have avoided using PayPal for extra savings, that's why it is around £80. The exchange rate can also give me a bigger saving (sometimes £5 between days).

    I'm saving around £80 by importing a 32GB 3G model from the US, more with a better exhange rate and no charges. I was totally opposed to the idea until I played with Caris's iPad.

     

    Regarding Flash, it is being phased out of the web for sure. At least I was told to stay well clear of it at Uni, with the lecturers stressing the importance of websites being able to perform the same functions on as many browsers and devices as possible.

    I don't own one, Lindsey, but I think the sim card may already be inside the phone? If so, that means you have to take it apart to get it out...I am not sure how easy this is, as apparently, it's not just a case of slipping open the back cover. I hope I'm wrong.

     

    It's easy, you get a tool to pop out a sim slot.

    After an all day session on it yesterday I finished it at around 8pm and I loved the game to bits. The graphics are out of this world and some of the music used, especially the main theme, is quite moving. Im just on mopping up the trophies now, getting all the endings is gonna take some time.

     

    Forgive my ignorance if ive missed this but does it ever explain why Ethan has blackouts and ends up in the middle of the road with an origami figure in his hand?

     

     

    Overall the game was fantastic. Even though it is essentially one massive QTE it actually works. I loved how everything comes together at the end and the games title finally makes sense.

     

    It is unexplained I think. It might come back in DLC as I'm pretty sure

    the fact that Madison and The OK know each other will be explained then.

     

     

    To get all the endings I think you need to play for a fair few hours. if you haven't got the Perfect Crime trophy then you need to start at the shop and go all the way to the end, as doing that grants specific endings. When you have that there is a guide on ps3trophies.org to get the rest, but you must use that save. It doesn't matter if you have endings spread accross saves, but you must start the guide with the Perfect Crime save.

    I have a used copy of God of War Collection, excellent condition, bought in America. You can get this in the UK with the Trilogy edition of God of War III (£110).

     

    I've looked on eBay and they are fetching quite high prices. I'll knock off a chunk and include P&P - £25.

    God of War II Platinum GET!!! Bring on GoW3. :D

     

    I've been trying to get through these for about a week. I'm 7 hours into GoW and at the Architects Tomb. I am on track to get all of the trophies except the 5 hour one, I've read that there is some costume unlock that can help with this on a second playthrough.

     

    You sir a trophy monster:). I watched you get through those games - starting GoW at 2pm and getting the Platinum at 9am. I'm actually finding it difficult and some of the platforming is terrible. I think I'm near the end. I should be able to run through it again in under 4 hours, most people get around 3 and a half.

    I watched it, it was really good. I feel there wasn't as much build up to Guadalcanal as there was to Band of Brothers.

    There was a few episodes where they didn't see combat at all, they were all training. The Pacific just had an overview of Japanese conquest (voiced by Tom Hanks) and that was pretty much it. There was just one or two scenes with each of the main characters before they are sitting in the ship on their way to war. I would've liked to see a training-like portion to see the relationships grow between the characters. I'm waiting for Jurassic Park to get over his murmour and get some action.

    Finding out it was Scott Shelby was a bit confusing. I understand why he is the killer, but not why he accuses others. He was trying to destroy all evidence by posing in an investigation, but why accuse the millionaires son? It is very sneaky the way they played other bits, for example the murder in the clock shop. Not finished yet, thanks to PSN fuckups, but there are some decisions I want to redo. I want to kill the guy on the forth task, I thought it was a 'good' path choice, but I can't get the best ending now.

    Just wandering, does the Skyplayer on xbox have the abbility to play HD content?

     

    Where are you going?

     

    Just in case you meant wondering, Live tv can be played at either low, medium, or high quality. On Demand can't be changed, and I don't think it is HD.

    I'd imagine your the type of guy I just want to love-bully.

     

    I'm currently doing it to a friend now.

     

    I just shake him, scream in his face and make weird noises and constantly just... annoy him.

     

    It's out of love though.

     

    And just when he gets to the point where he walks off I'll be normal and then he just... forgets.

     

    I should probably think about doing that. I think I am already ... Yeah.
