Yes but Giggs needs his one for the season! At the end of the game I heard the Sky say some United fans were saying we need to build the team around Januzaj more...I don't what more they can do as plan A seems to be 'give it to Adnan, he might score'. We will beat Swansea on Saturday, lose at Chelsea and beat Sunderland. I think.

Remember when Turok was £70 at launch on the 64? In 1997. Yea, good times. -

Gazza's been booked and will miss the final I have always enjoyed Selected Ambient Works Volume 1, I have never got into Volume II. Until this week. A really great album. Also this track plays over the ending of Season 3 of the Sopranos, so bonus points there. -
Renting, Mortgages and other things that remind us how old we all are

Credit scores are pretty bizarre, especially the bit about 'checking-your-score-negatively-impacts-your-score'. I had a non-existent credit score, and had trouble getting any sort of credit. I ended up with a card that had a fairly huge interest rate, used it very sparingly and set up a DD to pay off the minimum each month. I made the issuer a tonne of money doing this lol, but I have now fully paid it off as I have sorted a house. It is true what everyone has said in this thread, mortgages are very cheap right now but the deposit is a killer. I got a 3 bed, with a nice rear garden in a quiet area for £494 a month for the first two years. That £494 is split between me and my wife too, so less than £250 a month each. I am thrilled, beats paying £300 a month for a maisonette with a broken bathroom door. I just can't wait to move in now! -
Don't get me wrong, tournaments are a different matter, I look forward to them. Until Rob Green fumbles and we draw with the US and then the familiar feeling of depression sets in. I would say nostalgia plays a huge part in Euro 96 and France 98 being highlights of your childhood, I share the same feelings. Being hosts of the 96 championship colours the tournament massively, the knockout games were awful. 4 games from the QFs and SFs went to penalties, 6 goals scored from open play in 6 games. It also helps that England did well and went out in tragi-comic fashion like Italia 90. I think World Cup 98 was a genuinely good world cup, Croatia were a great story and there were quite a few members of the Brazil team in their prime. Losing to Romania in that tournament was gutting, but resulted in that game against Argentina. True to form we went out in a memorable way.

I don't even know why I watch England internationals/friendlies. I don't understand the people who pay to watch them. I am still not sure if it some cruel joke that ITV picked Bittersweet Symphony as their England coverage song.

Yes. Yes it is. New Bowie, My Bloody Valentine and Boards of Canada in 2013. Pretty good year. -
Kolo Toure is the centre back equivalent of Kanu but has less pace.
