Is it my imagination or can I just about hear voice acting?
  9. The Paranormal

The table originated from a place well known for paranormal activity. My mum used to work there back in the 70's, and recalls on various occasions witnessing (with other people) rope knotting in mid-air, being hit by scolding hot pebbles where there were no ovens for miles around, boxes stacking themselves, being kicked and bruised by thin air, amongst many other things.
  10. The Paranormal

As I previously stated, the house is surrounded by a high fence, thus making the entry of animals or humans extremely hard (tall mesh fence with deep cement foundations, and did I mention that on the other side of said fence that there's a huge drop?), and the house was only built a few years ago. It didn't sound like creaking, I can tell you that now without any hesitation. Again, it sounded like a howling sheiking laughter.
  11. The Paranormal

This took place just over a month ago. We had a table in our house. Quite an old one, if I may add, and with a history of being located within a place known for paranormal activity (a large warehouse built above the old roman burial grounds of Leicester, but that's a much longer story). One night, it started to make strange, creaking sounds. It had no reason to be making these sounds, since it didn't have anyone on top of it. At first we suspected it was wood-worm, so we took it apart. Found nothing. The following night, the same thing happened again, but considerably louder. We decided that we were going to throw away the chair, since something wasn't right about it, so we put it outside (we live in the countryside, btw) ready to throw away the following morning. Now here comes the weird bit. That night, the table started making sounds again. But this time, they were so loud, I could hear them from within my room, with all the doors shut, and all the windows shut. Me and my brother both came out of our rooms, and the noise suddenly got louder, and it started to turn into a sheiking, howling laughter. An extremely loud one. At this point, we literally started to crap ourselves, and tried to find a torch. Just before we entered our parent's room, the noise completely disappeared again. I managed to sleep after a long time awake that night, but my brother didn't, and he claimed to have heard it again. We looked into all the possibilities, and I can definitely confirm it wasn't an animal. No animal makes noises like that. It definitely wasn't the wind, and if it was someone playing a prank, my dogs would've heard them entering (we have a large gate at the front of our house that makes a shit load of noise when opened, and the whole perimeter of the house is surrounded by a mesh fence). So there you have it. My story.

I recently had a paranormal experience. Shall I continue?
  13. They're Running Out Of Names For Films

That was.... Just too awesome. Seriously, they should make an Oscars style prize ceremony for films like this.
  14. New Wii Remote

Because then you would have complained that you had to buy a whole new controller rather than a cheap upgrade? Plus, the reason why it wasn't done in 2006 is that although the technology existed, it wasn't affordable enough or small enough to be properly used.
  15. The Conduit 2

If High Voltage have been able to do anything, it's push the Wii beyond what anyone thought possible. I remember reading an interview where it was mentioned that even Nintendo was surprised on how much they were pushing the console, and how they were able to use some normally inaccessible RAM in the game itself (or something along those lines).
  16. Scott Pilgrim

Just discovered that this isn't coming to Spain until the 10th of December...
  17. Metroid: Other M

Have in mind it wasn't actually 24MB, but 24Mb (Megabits), which is the equivalent to 3MB (MegaBytes). HUGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. :bouncy:
  18. Are you feeling depressed, down or sad?

It's even better when you can understand what the guy's saying (He's asking the goat's opinion on Spanish policitians such as Zapatero and about the Spanish government in general). xDDD
  19. Msconfig may have buggered my keyboard

Oh... bugger xDD Well, try using the keyboard on another PC, if it gives you the same problems, you'll be needing a new one. Otherwise it's probably a problem with the Motherboard.
  20. Msconfig may have buggered my keyboard

Just to double confirm whether what I believe is right or not, try downloading a Linux Live-CD (such as Ubuntu) and running it before Windows boots (don't worry, it won't overwrite anything on the harddrive as long as you select the Live-CD option). If the keyboard doesn't work there, then we can confirm 100% that it's broken. Either that, or try it out on another PC, see if it has the same problem there.
  21. Msconfig may have buggered my keyboard

In that case, it's got nothing to do with the Operating System itself. It's either a problem with the PS/2 socket or the keyboard itself. You mentioned the keyboard is wireless, try replacing the batteries. If that doesn't work, try using another keyboard, if it's a PS/2 one (purple plug) and it doesn't work, it means that the socket is broken. If that's the case, the most logical thing to do is to get a USB keyboard, or get a new motherboard (although that's the most expensive option, and tbh is a bit pointless in this case).
  22. Msconfig may have buggered my keyboard

When you first turn on your computer, try accessing the BIOs by pressing one of the Function keys (It's usually F1 or F4, you'll have to double check on the BIOs screen or on their website) and tell me whether that works or not.
  23. Msconfig may have buggered my keyboard

Have you tried plugging in another USB keyboard to see whether it works or not?
