  1. I haven't started playing it yet but reading through other forums generally if you liked Spiderman 2 you will like this. It hasn't really improved that much from the previous game.

The Wii version is identical to the PS2 version apart from the motion controls and slightly better graphics so perhaps that score will be slightly higher but not above 7 from the IGN Wii section

  2. Would you say the graphics are better or worse than Sonic?

I'm a bit annoyed about the 5 story missions instead of 10, the no free roaming in sewers, no swimming and the lack of 480p and 16:9.

  3. Well I can tell you that the swinging does work really well - and, most of all, it's fun. As to the combat, yes it does require you to get used to it and I have to say I'm not really yet, but the times I do it right it feels really cool to use the motion controls and it really adds to the overall experience :) A downside: I got 3 hours playtime and according to the game I'm on 25% :( Maybe I should increase the difficulty setting to the highest (now on 'hero' aka normal)

For whatever reason the Wii version has less storylines so it's shorter.

  4. Yup

Extract of interview from IGN with developers Vicarious Visions:

IGN: Will Spider-Man 3 Wii support 16:9 and progressive scan?

    Mintz: Yes.

Could of easily been taken out of the EU version though.

  5. Yea but I'd rather have those icons to be sure, like with Heatseeker which does 16:9 but no 480p. I have a HDTV and I want to be sure it will look as good as possible.

It's way too confusing without them.

  6. "Downtown ARHHHGHGH Downtown"

    "Downtown take the mines out"

"Oh no teh planezzz!!! Be careful take them out too!.......... Downtown"

Take the mines out yourselves you're on the water not me! Damn stupid boats..

Repeating the objectives while you're trying to do them every time gets on my nerves.

  7. It's worth picking up, a bit rough around the edges but you get a adrenaline rush when in a big firefight.

I wish this had rumble support though, it's perfect for this kind of game.

By the way does this run version in 50hz and no 480p, pressing the info button on my remote gives me no Resolution information.

  8. The game is great fun, apart from the annoying voice acting and awful ground textures. It looks pretty nice when you're in the air but it could do alot of work I don't know if it even supports 480i or not.

  9. I was not happy with Vegas at all, I bought it played it when I got home. 10 minutes later I was like "You know what screw this" and went back to Gears. The sad thing is I was really excited about Vegas.:(

I miss the old style Rainbow Six like when it was alot more tactical and tense.

Not action like with some a tactical thinking on the side.
