    You should play Dragon Quest VIII.

    You can fly in it too, high and low, with the same level in graphics. Loading times appear when taking the boat from continent to continent and when entering/exiting cities(which are in correct 1:1 size when seen from the world map) but none while flying.

    Thanks. I shall however say I disagree with your comments that the Wii should be selling less than the other two consoles. I simply say this because I feel the 360 and PS3 have brought less innovation to the market than the Wii.

     

    I feel that PC gaming has stagnated in many ways, mainly due to increasing push in graphical quality which has priced out a lot of average PC owners and due to the very nature of the games that are being developed.

     

    I think that stagnation has crossed over into the console market too. The games being developed are just flashier versions of the old stuff and are becoming less accessible to the public due to both the price of the consoles (PS3 I'm looking at YOU) and complexity of the titles.

     

    The Wii comes along and does things differently, it has pulled a lot of people into gaming who would never have dreamt of picking up a controller, and some of whom would have been positively frightened of doing so! I think the Wii deserves it's success, as it's broken the mold and taken gaming in a direction that may well have saved it from regressing back to when it was a niche market enjoyed by spotty anti-social adolescents!

     

     

     

    Do you even know anything about pc games?

     

    Portal stagnate?

    World of warcraft stagnate?

    World in conflict stagnate?

    company of heroes stagnate?

    The PS3 may well have some very solid exclusives by the end of it's lifetime, but I'm afraid it's currently trailing behind the Wii and the 360 in my opinion. This could all change but I think if the PS3 trails so badly for much longer, we could well see the system turn out to be a flop as it gets harder and harder for the PS3 to recover with every month of poor sales.

     

    The sad thing is, once a console gathers or loses momentum it's very hard to turn that around - regardless of content. If I had to choose any console for sheer quality of games it would have to be the N64, that for me was just stuffed with fantastic games. But it was still outsold by the PSone.

    No, the point was that the 360 was leading with RPGs. I can't agree with this considering the RPGs are games aren't really worth playing. It didn't really take into account the not-so-distant future either. It's like saying 'spend 300 quid now because at this precise moment in time there are more RPGs, even though they're all average or crap'.

    The real problem is the sheer stupidity that drove X360 or PS3. I mean... Why bring out 400 dollar console, when market has proven multiple times that any console that is over 250 dollars will fail? Or why push software prices higher, when people were already saying that games were too expensive? Or why do gamble where you sell console with 300 dollars loss, and pray that you will eventually have 60 million userbase so that the software royalties *might* someday turn console profitable? Sony has already blown over 65 percent of profit that it generated from PSOne and PSTwo within 1½ years. In any other business this would be called madness. And just because of this, Microsoft and Sony are deserving everything that is coming for them.

     

    whys the 360/ps3 stupid it's got the games i like, i'm willing to pay the high price surely i should have that option?

    there are tons of sites that do such things...try dugout.net...

     

    I've had allsorts...the best was a FM07 update that went back to the first premiership season...

     

    IGN gave it a 9.0 by the way...out on friday as I said before.

    I'm a big football manager fan as well, my pc is really old though so the newer versions tend to go really slow on my pc.

     

    At the minute i'm playing champ manager 01/02 with 06/07 player updates!! Its great :)

    I'm annoyed that people think this with Zelda, Excite Truck, Red Steel, CoD4, MoH,SSX,DBZ, etc. In fact, most of the Wii games I see on the shelves are for "core gamers". Can't vouch for their quality, but can't vouch for the quality of most other consoles' games either.

     

    one good game in that list mate and one alright game
