arab_freak
Link for those of you who are outside the loop: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=4508427 I saw it today, even though the posters say "Adults only" and I have to be over 18 years old. I bought 2 tickets, one for me, and a 15 year-old friend of mine (he just turned 15, btw). It was a fun movie, although some scenes were just too gross. :X Too bad it was too long though, a 3-hour movie and I went inside with a headache. Some people couldn't look at each other after they left. It's like all their faith in humanity had been demolished or something...or maybe they don't want to get raped. :P I'm glad we finally get an Egyptian movie to go international, but I don't like the fact that it had to be THIS movie to get out there. I think it'll give us a bad reputation. So, anyone else seen it? The only place I know of that has this movie in theaters (with subtitles) is New York.
