Not going to moan, but this is mainly for myself.. maybe some of you guys will find it helpful too.

I'm finding it hard keeping track of levels I have to play still so I've decided having something official will help me to play through people's levels. This is going to be a give more than take kinda thing.

 

Basically, like in the level id thread you submit 1 level for free, but you have to earn points by playing other peoples levels.

 

1 point for having played, 2 points for having completed a level (make a comment at the end of the level, it will post a screenshot of you on the flag).

 

Everyone can submit a level for free, after that

 

2 levels = 5 points

3 levels = 10 points

4 levels = 15 points etc...

 

 

no time constraints.

 

I'm not going to submit a level to get things rolling, mainly because I'm off next week.. so a stupid time to try getting this started admittedly, but if people are interested then it can be a kinda wiki admin. When I get back from holiday I'll try to collate info in this post on a weekly basis, but the main idea on this is to get a bit more exposure for levels we really would like people to play... this isn't meant to be a replacement for the ID thread but hopefully can complement it... I'm not leaving till next tuesday so hopefully things can get started but my proposed reply lay out would be:

The level submission limits are there to keep things manageable and to encourage people to play a variety of users levels.. as I said this is to complement the level id's thread, so if you have lots of levels use that thread, this one is more for levels you are most proud of,think are challenging and want to see if we can complete them or maybe levels you'd like to hear feedback about!

 

When I get back I'll submit my own level and make a table to help visualise things, if people have shown an interest in this that is... If not I guess I'll do it solo on my lonesome Probably best to post positive feedback about levels in the mario maker ID's thread to keep this one tidy (and promote levels you really enjoy in there!) and maybe PM constructive criticism through directly to creators.

 

You may also want to include a short comment about your level, maybe about challenge, puzzle, speed, focus on jumping etc. so people can make a snap choice about which levels to play if they only have limited time...
