Hogge Posted March 23, 2015 Share Posted March 23, 2015 Really? I think Nintendoland is one of the few games actually suited to the Wii U. Not as the killer app that's supposed to sell a brand new console. It's not like the fireworks at the end of E3 were so graphically stunning that they sold the console. It's not like minigames will make people drool with desire to buy a new, expensive console. It's not like the minigames are so good that they can be considered an in any way acceptable substitute for the games Nintendo can't be arsed to put into development. For example, the F-Zero minigame doesen't work as a substitute for a true F-Zero. It works as a way to say "imagine how awesome this would be if we allowed it to reach its full potential". As a way to satisfy gamers, it's awful. To fans it's more of a cruel tease. If you'd however release it as a separate download for mobile, with the goal of making people desire to buy the "real" game , then it's PERFECT.
