Menkor Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 I have just gotten a router, and want to connect the Wii to internet by cable connection I have seen that you need a LAN adapter to get a wired connection for the Wii...There are many 3rd party adapters out there and some of them are much cheaper than Nintendo's adapter Have anyone had bad experience with, for example, Datel's adapter? Can I get a 3rd party adapter without having to worry?
darkjak Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 Modern routers usually are wireless, so if yours is, just connect to it!
Pookiablo Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 Modern routers usually are wireless, so if yours is, just connect to it! At least read the guy's post, he says he wants to connect via cable! I've only used the official one before, I imagine you'd probably get the same quality from a Datel brand - the technology is fairly standard. However, the one I used worked perfectly It's a shame I got rid of it, otherwise I'd have just given it to ya!
