Emasher Posted October 6, 2008 Share Posted October 6, 2008 Over the last few days I've been hooking up an HDTV and a 5.1 surround sound system. The system is capable of Dolby Pro Logic II. So my question is, will the sound from DPLII sources (such as the Wii) play through all 5 speakers and the sub woofer, or does it just simulate 5.1 though the front two speakers? david.dakota Posted November 5, 2008 Share Posted November 5, 2008 Prologic 2 is a 5.1 system and basically mimics Dolby Digital using a matrixed stereo source. So yes, each of the 5 speakers (and your sub) will produce sound- as long as DPL2 is encoded in the stereo mix. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
