Ramar
As the title says I'm having a few issues with my USB Ports. Basically if I plug in my USB headset, it doesn't work. If I connect my phone, it crashes, if I plug in my camera it doesn't recognise it. Oddly though my mouse works. So earlier today I formatted, to keep the story short, I'm still getting the same issue. Anyone got any ideas? Currently using XP Service Pack 2 and its an Asustek P5B motherboard. Guest Jordan
Sounds as if either: The drivers you're using are messed up and its installing default drivers. Go find your motherboard manufacturer's website and update them. If its not that, then the ports could be buggered. http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us&model=P5B Under "Chipset". Ramar
Had a quick gander, and they appear to be the same drivers I've got installed. Folder name is identical. Which probably means the ports are buggered. But it's still rather odd.
Ramar
A friend has recently suggested it could be a power issue. One port definitely works because my mouse is in it. And the others can work but tend to stop roughly 3-5 minutes after start up. [sorry for the dobule post, thought it was gonna automerge]
