Ramar Posted November 16, 2005 Share Posted November 16, 2005 Theres two reasons for this thread; 1. Christmas is coming and I need to think of things to ask relatives to get me. (They can't think for themselves or surprise me). 2. I've also just applied for 3 Uni courses that are going to be using a lot of programming. I currently can program in Visual Basic which I know is a load of bollocks. So I would like to get a book to have a butchers through and learn something that will give me a head start when I get to Uni. I'm mainly looking for Java or C++ books, cheers.
