Posted January 27, 2007 I traded in the Wiimote that came with my Wii because it simply stopped working and could only frantically light up its LEDs. My new Wiimote works fine though. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Posted January 28, 2007 The wii-mote will occasionally lock-up when moving between channels as it seems the console re-boots as it loads. I think it's because it checks connect-24 when you go into certain things and sometimes there's a delay. The remote seems to act as if the console is off and re-connects as soon as channel loads up. Symptoms seem to be: Black screen for ages Wii-Mote not working (blue lights just blinking when button pressed I do notice that the Wii is pretty prone to 'crashing' in between channels.
