Had a look at Legend the other day and couldn't see a "Downloadable Content" section that would host the Anniversary content once available. Unless they send out an update to Legend that includes this I'm not sure how the whole thing is going to work. Plus there's the whole achievement issue, I'd expect 1000 points for Anniversary but the max they could add to legend is 250 i think.

All nintendo need to do is team up with yahoo or google or ICQ and integrate their IM software into the Wii. That would mean that the Wii would get friends lists, messaging and online presence for free and the IM software vendor would get increased membership (good for their ad revenue sales). Add a link to the friends list in the home menu and you're all set, with minimum cost to Nintendo as they're using an already established network.

But the text will be the same, hence the majority of the translation already done?

I read a description of apparent scenes in the game and it all sounded way too extreme. Not sure if it was genuine or not as the language used seemed a little too colourful for a serious description.

Could someone with the HD DVD play stick a HD disk in an see if you get an auto update, I just got one and not sure if it's new or a re-download of a previous one.

Pedestrians in busy car parks who seem oblivious to moving cars so continue to walk slowly down the center of the road with their trollies full of cat food and hair nets, DO YOU WANT ME TO RUN OVER YOU? People who stop their cars on busy roads and put on their "Hazard Warning" lights as though that makes it OK to be a complete tool. Kids who walk around town with their mobile phones playing tinny renditions of crappy songs as though they are the coolest, most original human on the planet. Where did this fad come from?

The volume when listening to a DVD on my Xbox is really low compared to playing games, are there any settings for this that i'm missing anywhere?

It's a difficult situation but without the ratings system issued by the BBFC the general public probably wouldn't allow any titles that are only suitable for adults as they could be legally bought by a minor. With the BBFC in place we can obtain games with more adult theme such as resident evil 4 without too much backlash from parents and the like. The downside is the occasionally, one game will be deemed too explicit and will be banned. But it's a small price to pay for the general acceptance of 18 rated games in the market.

I can't watch any previews of this game without getting "I believe in a thing called love" in my head. Looks like it could be a decent game if it doesn't become too generic in the second half.

Daredevil has super hearing and stuff, given to him by some radioactive shite. Captain America is Genetically Enhanced by some sort of anti-commie potion which gave him super strength and ninja shield throwing ability, but weakened his powers of dress sense.

I wonder if the IGN team will be buying their own copies, rather than them being given free review copies from the publisher. Somehow I doubt it.

And there was probably many millions spent on R&D before the Wii and DS came out so they have to repay all that before they're into pure profit, which they already are i imagine.

I've got a feeling that this might disappoint when it eventually comes out, all the previews seem to be desperately trying to like it but aren't that enthusiastic by the end. I Hope I'm wrong though.
