If I hear anyone call the switch a pure gaming machine over PS4 and Xbox one I will slap them. The measurements for a games machine is the games. Pure gaming machine slogans are pointless if you do not back it up with games.

PS3/360 no doubt

There is no doubt Nintendo will pick and choose which games support voice chat. Which games have robust online features. We will still get games like Mario golf which are packed with online features while Mario tennis is bare bones to the max. This is the Nintendo way.

So when my little nephew wants to play Splatoon online and chat with me and his dad he can't as he doesn't have a smartphone. Why should we need to buy him a smartphone to play and chat with us online together?

It's gonna be the same as past generations. Some games will have lots of online features while others will be bare bones. Can't believe it's gonna be on a game by game basis again. Regarding voice chat in Splatoon 2. Not really happy that once in game you can't chat with people not on friends list. Nintendo could have implemented that with parental controls and instead give adults a choice if they want to chat with friends only.

That £10 Nintendo on the go tax. I will get PS4 version that's for sure.

After the debacle of the Wii U marketing it really looks like Nintendo have got things right with switch. Did they change advertising agencies?

bomberman looks like a £20 game and that's being generous. not doubting the gameplay will be solid but visually it looks cheap.

Overnight??? How about looking at it another way. Nintendo have had shoddy online setup since the Wii. Thats like 10 years ago, they have had 10 years to look at what the competition offers. Fans have been telling what Nintendo need to improve on for 10 years now. They have refused to get with the times. You are repeating the exact same words people said before the Wii U was launched in regards to Nintendo online offerings. It's silly to forget that Nintendo have been weak in the online environment for god knows how long.

Slightly confused. Where are you getting this idea that there would be a FIFA game released on switch before FIFA 18. That would be disastrous idea from EA as the football season is more than halfway through. Nobody would be buying FIFA 17.5 FIFA 18 will be announced for switch once they announce it for all platforms. Let's see if Konami announce Pro Evo soccer 2018 for switch. They ignored Wii U even though they would have had the market to themselves.

It's the 360/PS3 game with two new characters. If this is on sale for anything over £15 we are being ripped off. If it really is £40 then this game will be a ghost town online UMVC3 would have been better to be honest.
