Latin? are you sure it's Latin? If so, it's completely pointless, its not even a native language of any existing countries now. It's just something taught to rich kids in private schools, god knows why Apart from many scientific and medical terms being linked to latin, there isnt really much use to knowing latin.

Well hopefully everyone here is being flip. That kid wont have had any input into the advert at all, the song, the setting, the clothes, the hairstyle and yes, even the arm gestures will have been directed and chosen by someone else. It's questionable if that's even his real voice. The advert will have been rehearsed and shot in many ways, it will have turned out the same with any other kid in it. It's pretty pointless and niave to hate a kid who was really just a puppet. Anyway, i actually quite like the advert, the rhymes are shameful, but they're not going to care if they're credible. The ad will have been screened and tested with the products demographics (under 10s) and will have been popular. Still doesn't beat Shiela's Wheels though :p

It depends on alot of things...first get your license, if you havent got it yet, then you cant guess how long it'll take to get. Second if you'll be living in halls of residence you really wont need it. Avoid getting a car for as long as possible, they really do drain money, at 17 the insurance will almost cost you 2 thousand. I understand the desire, it does make life alot easier, not going on the bus anymore is great. If you dont have your license yet, concentrate on that, it'll come in handy for when you want a car.

I wanted to make my views more clear on the topic in general. I live in a town called Keighley, it has alot of racial tension and is the home to the BNP leader. I've grown up seeing alot of racial tension, racism exists on both sides, i have known people in this town basically blame asians for all of the town's problems. The real problem is the communities are too segrigated, there is no real interaction. I am aware there are difficult relations and that there are some extremist muslims. However it is false to suggest that the average muslim supports the murderous actions of the terrorists, which is what the trailer was implying - and most people who have seen the trailer will not see the programme.

I am aware that the programme itself may differ. However, due to the nature of adverts/trailers, it being short, repeated often and in this case being sensationalist - it will leave a bigger impact than the programme itself will. Many people will see this advert between watching another programme and never see the programme in full. So really the nature and frequency of this trailer makes it more important than the programme itself.

luigis mansion was hinted at in the earliest wii promo videos - so its possible.

the Mk series has got stale, but it's great to see the wii getting plenty of 3rd party support.

sounds to me like the big guns got upset that Nintendo stole the show, so they're throwing their toys out of the pram. Very poor sportsmanship, instead they should look at where they can improve. Although Sony had a poor press conference they did have a couple of good moments - the "crouching tiger, hidden dragon" style game and the metal gear solid trailer.

I think whats most important is that neither side be seen as superior or as having the right to bully the other side. I have to admit it can be fustrating to want to have an intelligent conversation but struggle to find anyone to have it with. As for big brother, well it was never really a psychology experiment, it just wasnt controlled enough for that and wouldnt meet ethical guidelines to be allowed to be reported on. Watching big brother certainly isn't an indication of being stupid, i've been addicted to the current series. However, what i dont like with big brother is its attempts to push the barriers of crudity with housemates like Lisa and Jane and things like the burping contest. I dont really have a problem with reality tv, the only really annoying thing for me is how they really dominate the tv shedules, it is quite rare now to see a good documentary on the primary channels now.

well i've gone to loads of agencies, there just seems to be no temp work left. Signed up to one today. I'll look and see if any summer clubs for kids have vancies, i have relevant experience and a disclosure form. Job hunting sucks.

when i'm working or have got an early morning at college i usually go to bed at 1am, otherwise i average at 3am. I seem to live quite well off 6 hours of sleep. Why do i go to bed so late? i'm not sure, been doing it for years, started when my dad died, i'd go to bed at 6/8am then. but now i'm usually distracted by the internet or dvds. Right now i'm off my TV, i'm just chatting with some great people.
