Just wait for the next volcanic eruption... :P I kid, but Vesuvius wasn't actually the worst eruption in history. I suppose maybe disasters in our time seem worse because there are more people killed, and that's only because of population explosion and whatnot. So the ones in the past could have been as bad, but without the sensationalised repoting/death tolls of today.

So what if the world is ending? There's no point in freaking out. There's nothing we can do about it. That said, saying that the world is ending is a bit dramatic...it would be more sensible to expect the frequency and strength of disasters to increase. However, the magnitude of recent disasters trump all the ones in the past.

I whinged a lot in-game about the deaths not showing alignment to appear innocent, but from a mafioso's POV, it was a good idea. Otherwise the game would have ended rather quickly, I should think, with far less mystery and confusion (being a good thing in mafia games imo).

Skived off from studying and took a walk into the city centre this morning. Found the nude blazer of my dreams in TK Maxx, reduced from €182 (eeek!) to €20. It's by some Italian brand called (ethic).

The only beer I enjoy is Früli strawberry fruit beer, which probably can't be found here (I had it in London). I can tolerate/semi-enjoy Hite Max. I've only ever tried two other beers, Heineken and Asahi, and I found them so bitter and carbonated and undrinkable Won't comment on peer pressure as I see it's been thripped.

Sorry to hear about your job troubles, ReZ. Hopefully the next one treats you better One of my fears is shoehorning myself into a job without adequate training. It just doesn't make sense...if employers want their employees to work well, surely they would be shown how?

Both Tales and I were originally mafia, both of us died and replaced the two inactive mafia members MadDog and Rummy respectively. I never suspected Ellmeister either...well played!

Oh well, I tried my best 5 mafia, 1 totally inactive, 2 semi-inactive (not their fault) as Tales said...I did find it hard, but it was fun all the same! I want to know who killed me the first time around!!

Again, why am I the only one who's targeted for "stealing"? There were girls with bandanas and dudes with dark hair (iirc) stealing mail and vandalising and breaking into places too, and I can't be all of them. Also to reply to questions from earlier on: going through Rummy's past target list and results, there is absolutely nothing there about a "black book". Either The Peeps (before he replaced dan-likes-trees) was lying, or he was misdirected/being controlled. I am an investigator, who also involuntarily takes stuff. Rummy wasn't lying about the Justin Bieber fanletter. While that's not very useful, I suppose I should be looking out for any anti-religious paraphernalia. I don't get names, I check out people's houses - I can give some examples for whoever doesn't mind me revealing their messy rooms :p And I can tell you now that my next suspect is Ellmeister.
