It could be that your mouse is not working as well as it could. They do wear out from time to time, so if you've had that mouse for a long time, you might try a different one. Also, there are settings in your computer that change the sensitivity that your computer's operating system has to the actions of the mouse. Perhaps your software has been set to be too sensitive. You can change this through the Control Panel.
