Here are my hopes/expectations 35-48 minute Direct Around 10 minutes of Splatoon 2 -Gameplay Modes -Story -amiibo -Launch Date Around 10 minutes of ARMS -Gameplay Modes -Story -amiibo -Launch Date Around 15-28 minutes of everything else -Virtual Console -Pokémon spin-off (Pokkén, Rumble, Dungeon etc.) on Switch -Pikmin 3DS -Mario Kart 8 -Ever Oasis -Possibly Fire Emblem Warriors trailer -Zelda amiibo -Localisations (Miitopia, Monster Hunter XX, Yo-kai Watch 2 Shinuchi etc.) -Indie Sizzle Reel -First Party Announcement -Surprise #1 -Surprise #2 -Animal Crossing Mobile Direct announcement Nothing major, but still good stuff.

Na it just had their boxart. Based on anime's progression, we're nowhere near done with Gen 7 so no it won't be standalone. Whatever comes next is still Gen 7

Seriously though, I hope for and am expecting Pokkén Tournament, either an enhanced port or a sequel.

ORAS never got a Direct. ORAS got a random video in a random afternoon of a random Wednesday in May 2014, with no (official) heads up or anything.

But is not exclusive to. It will give stuff for other Switch and 3DS games. We've never had a Nintendo Direct that hasn't had at least one new reveal. Hopefully they don't buck this trend.

Yeah, based on reviews it seems like it's exactly what they promised, but with performance issues. I'm happy with that. Some reviews have brought to light one of the issues I have with gaming now. There's too much focus on narrative and scope, less on gameplay and people are starting to expect things to be like that. Ah well. I'm waiting for the Switch version now and will decide from there

They typically have been. They have very rarely been on Saturdays. Not plenty

Simultaneously enjoying and hating this game This happens way too often. The controls are weird. I try to make sure I'm sturdy, but I often keep falling down or overstretching

1 leak being correct doesn't mean all will be. Plus that leak was from someone who was setting up an event.
