  1. The Official Leipzig Conference Topic

So Nintendo have done the speach and thats it now? I thought the speach was on the 24th?
  2. what is your specialty?

Im a bit of a geekazoid. Pc's (as in fixing problems, i.e keeping things working, technical stuff, etc...) And Nintendo, I'm a very big fan of Nintendo. I'm the only Nintendo fan out of my friends, altough they are slowly starting to like them a bit more, now that psp is getting it's ass kicked. BASTARDS! How dare they, Being a Nintendo fan is my speciality!
  3. Free radical talks Wii

And what? Haze is just another FPS. If Wii proves to be a popular system, then i'm sure FR will put the effort into making a decent game. And if theres a game thats really popular, but isn't available on Wii, I will just get the other two systems (eventually).
  4. Yeh, I really need to get myself a DS LITE and that 'New Super Mario Bros.' game.

Yes, 1.5 is great. If it wasn't for 1.5 I would of sold my PSP long ago.
  6. First of all, saying Wii won't be a success, based on the fact that, you 'think' Wii won't have any (or many) games with deep storylines is just absurd. Second of all, this comment is just ridiculous... - Originally Posted by Ocelot... I mean, how do you know Wii won't have any or many games with great story? Ok, fair enough, Zelda, MP and many other Nintendo-made franchises (story wise) are getting a bit boring. But what about the 3rd party companies, surly at least one company can make a game for Wii which has a deep and encapsulating story? Here's my final verdict; Games with a deep story are important, but it's not everybody's cup of tea, and saying that the console will fail because of this is ridiculous. Most of my friends (who are mostly, pretty much all Playstation fans) don't like games with story (unless it's like an RTS or FPS game) because they would rather just turn on the console and start playing the game, instead of reading / listening to some game character rant on about the end of the world, etc etc... Now i'm not saying the whole demograph of the games industry is based on my group of friends, but there are a lot of people who don't give a rats-arse about story lines, and there are just as many (if not more) people who would rather play the game (aka... PES, FIFA, Call of Duty, various sports games, etc...) for it's gameplay rather than it's story. Unless of course it's a game driven by a major story-line aka an RPG. Anyway, Sorry for going on a bit, and I hope Wii is the console you are hoping for.

I'm playing Breath of Fire 3. The storyline is prety dull atm, but i'v heard it gets more intresting as you go along.
  8. HD-DVD Vs. Blue Ray your thoughts?

That whole incident about PS3 games locking itself to a specific PS3 console is bollox and was proven fake. I Don't have a source, look on google.
  9. What a sad end for the great one.

If someone was racist to me, i'd do a lot more then a head-butt.
  10. What a sad end for the great one.

Oh right, so being racist is a good thing is it? It's funny how you only look at Zidane being in the wrong, and not at the whole scenario. Obviously you must be very good at controling your anger, but not everyone else is. I'm not saying what he did was the right thing to do, but writing him off over this little incident is stupid. People Head-Butt people everyday, but the MEDIA is trying to make out what Zidane did, was the worst crime crime in football history. And as they say, (most of you will probably disagree with me), actions speak louder than words. BTW, i'm not attacking you for saying what Zidane did was wrong, just that I think you should have been a little more open-minded. At the end of the day that Italian player is a **** as well.
  11. Hello, Recently Microsoft released a software tool to help admins protect public computers from virus's and malware, by offering a software package that could do a numeber of different things like, restrict users, stop permmanent changes being made to the dask disk etc... Anyway, I have turned on windows disk protection, and basicly what that does is clear any changes you've made to the hardisk, once you restart the computer. However, I want to to save certain things, like desktop icons, downloaded music, etc... Is there a way to configure what it protects and what it doesn't protect? Thanks.
  12. Microsoft Shared Computer Toolkit Tweaking

Well, an anti virus takes up processing power, the Windows Disk Protection doesn't. Also you need to keep updating the anti-virus. It's not that important. I just wanted to try a different method of protecting my pc from spyware and virus's.
  13. Marijuana cures cancer

The problem is most people can't be arsed to put it into their food, and will just smoke it instead, especially hard-core stoners.
  14. Microsoft Shared Computer Toolkit Tweaking

I know that, I was only intending to protect the OS files themselves, so that I wouldn't need to run a anti-virus in the background. I also had the idea of partitioning my harddrive, but it would be a lot more simple if I could configure it, to only protect the OS files, i.e C:\Windows
  15. Final Fantasy 7 remake. Yes or No?

I didn't experience the game until recently. And it was only because I found out my psp could play Snes Roms.
  16. It's not necessarily the fact that It wasn't funny, when I first saw that sony confrence video clip, my inner-nintendo-fanboy was awakened and I found it funny. But the thing I was moaning about, is the fact that i've seen and heard it about a 100 times now, and it just seems old.
  17. I've got better things to do. But thanks anyway. And that whole Ridge Raaaacer thing is old, get over it, it's not even funny anymore. And when people keep mentioning it, I feel ashamed to be a Nintendo fan because it seems like such a childish thing!
  18. Final Fantasy 7 remake. Yes or No?

I know this is a bit off topic, but I wouldn't mind a Chronno Trigger remake for Wii, made in 3D of course!
  19. I agree with you 100% on this one. All the Nintendo fanboys have come out of the wood-work after this years E3, which is quite sad really. And then they wander why people say Nintendo is for kids!
  20. Wii Hardware Discussion

Maybe it's something to do with that camera add-on, that was meant to come out on Gamecube, way back! Who Knows?!?
  21. Sony's Harrison recommends the Wii

Well he probably wants people to buy a PS3 FIRST! Then the customer won't be able to afford a Wii.
  22. Super Mario Galaxy

I have a subscription with Gamespot, and they have HD downloads on there. But it's pretty much impossible to download it because the files are between 130 - 200 Mega Bytes, plus the fact that everyone else is trying to download it makes matters even worse.
  23. Playstation Discussion Archive

I have a PSP but mainly use it for illegal reasons. Aka Playing Snes! or ISo's
  24. It would appear nothing is sacred.

Choze, I havn't seen him on here in ages, even on the Rival Boards. I wander where he went? - Not that I care.
  25. OMG Sony did it

You are right, there are a lot of fanboy comments in here, but then again what did you expect? Go to a hardcore sony website and you will see a load of Sony Fanboys. And I think Wii has a very good chance of doing well. I think anyone/company would sell a brick for £300 if they could.
